Arrival Story:
One Summer night we heard "someone" meowing in the backyard. It was a little cat... She stayed in the bathroom for a week untill we found her new owners. 24 hours after she was gone we begged the people who had kept her to give her back, we couldn't live without her. She has lived happily with us ever since.
Bio:
In December 2004 we found out that Txugui is FELV and FIV positive. We decided to test her because she was having a hard time with pneumonia. We don't know how she got it but we think it might have been through a bite a street cat gave her. Poor Txugui. Now she has reovered from the lung infeccion but once in a while limps from one of the legs. She is taking some medicine to reinforce her imunity. We still hope she will live a long and healthy live and that the virus stays "out of work" for a long time. We love her anyway, these virus didn't change a thing.
