Arrival Story: My father passed away on April 15, 2003. Now it is just me and my mother in the house. We were out mowing along side of the road in August of 2003, when we saw four kittens cross the road. We ended up rescuing them all. There were two calico's, and two black and white kittens. Lee-Ann and Sue got hit by cars in 2004, and Jean died of lung cancer in July of 2006. My mother has always said that my father sent them to us from Heaven, so we can remember how it is to love and care again.

Bio: I was told by the vet that Jean had a tumor in her lungs and there was nothing that could be done. After learning of Jean's diagnosis she held on over a month. The vet said he was surprised that she held on that long and that she must have felt a lot of love. She died on my birthday, July 4th of 2006. It was hard knowing that she was going to die. We love her so much and she will always be missed.
Jean's picture is in the new Cutest Pet Book of 2007 on page 25. Her bio story is on bio page #2.
Since Jean's death, our neighbor behind us is staking claim to some of our land, and has built a fence up, leaving Jean's resting place on his side of the fence. He now has goats walking on our pet cemetary. As of now, we are in a land dispute with him. It is sad that I can't even visit her grave properly.

Forums Motto: I will always be loved and missed

When Mommy found me and my three sisters, she never knew where we came from. Mommy lives in the last house on the street, and the only other house nearby is where my Auntie Tabitha lives. Mommy did the right thing by putting an ad in the paper before keeping us all for herself. No one claimed us, but mommy always suspected our true mother lived a block over from her street. Since our birth, the owner of that house has passed away, and mommy hasn't seen the mother cat that looked just like my sister, Kay. Now Mommy suspects we are relatives of a house two blocks over. And yesterday, mommy saw a cat there that looks just like me. I think mommy thought I had come back to life. The only thing different is that this cat was a bit slimmer than I was. Mommy was happy to see me again and I heard her holler out to this cat, asking if she wanted to come home with her. Mommy knows she belongs to someone, but I think she just wanted to take a bit of me back home with her again. Can anyone blame her for that? Nah, I don't blame mommy either. I know she will always carry me in her heart.
