She was knocking out babes like nobody's business in the rarely flooded drainage pipes. One winter's day in CA she brought 3 of her weaning brood onto our 2nd floor balcony, so they could eat crunchies (for our domestic cat). The rest is history. She is beyond smart. More to come...
Bio:
This pic does not do her justice (I hope to find another). She is so much healthier looking now- her fur is no longer staring. She has fluffed out and has the prettiest face. She is truly beautiful. She was the best mother ever, and I don't know how many litters she has had. When we were forced to take her last kittens (for rescue) she cried for 2 weeks and brought food for them- fresh, warm, entrails and a dead bird. She was so canny and outsmarted us protecting them.
She is one awesome momma and deserves all my respect. She is devoted, fierce Momma to : Josh, Han, Emet, Marly, Socks, Sammie and grandma to 13 kittens that we know of, all of whom are adopted. She truly is Queen. She has come a long way from that half-starved, wearing, incredibly brutal life. In the winter, she waddles! She became the poster kitty for contentment, and from spring through fall she used to sun herself on the balcony in the quiet, early hours.
