bob was a feral kitten brought to us by another tomcat. bob didn't allow anyone to touch him for months, but when winter set in he was convinced to move indoors. he had his own room at our previous address complete with comfy furnishings and was quite the recluse there, but now has claimed the entire newer house as his own. the love of his life, ginger, died a yr ago of breast cancer. bob began to lose weight and was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor this year. fortunately, he was referred to "radiocat" and had an I:131 treatment when destroyed the tumor. bob now is gaining weight and enjoying his good health once again. since bob did not have health insurance, his job is to watch over the house and protect it from squirrels, chipmunks, and neighbor cats while his mom works lots of overtime to pay for the treatment...

Bio:
bob is missing his 2 upper fangs and will someday be fitted with a bridge to replace them. yes, he's an expensive cat, but well worth it! 9/29/06- bob has seemingly recovered from a late-february diagnosis of renal failure. he's gained some weight, is eating and drinking very well!!

bob crossed the rainbow bridge december 18, 2006. because he was so opposed to the iv fluids for the renal failure he was diagnosed with in february, i opted to give him all the love and spoiling he wanted for his remaining time. we were given an estimated few wks without doing treatment. bob stayed healthy many months. he gained weight, played, ate well- every day counted. he had a good life and a great cat family. we miss his jolly, good nature and forgiving ways. he was the best!!
