indoors Arrival Story: Sherman was abandoned at a high-kill shelter by his previous owner when she became pregnant and Sherman was "too much trouble". He was rescued from that shelter and became part of the program at Cat AngelsPet Adoption on July 3rd. As a volunteer at Cat Angels, I had seen many cats come into the program, but there was something special about this little guy. He was gray, with a black mask and his fur was in tangles. With his sweet face and ice blue eyes, I knew that there was a handsome guy under all that dirt.
We also knew that he would most likely not be able to be put into a room with other cats becuase on top of everything else, Sherman was deaf and would not be able to hear the warning signals from the other cats.
At the time Sherman entered the program, I had a 17 year old four-legged son named Casey who had been an only kitty his entire life, and Idid not think that I could bring another cat into my house. But I decided to take a chance and foster Sherman.
After a week, Sherman and Casey were living together with no fur flying and he had become a loved member of the family.
