indoors Arrival Story: Jack and Sophie were adopted from The Anti Cruelty Society on May 18, 2007 by my mom, sister, my 1 year old nephew at the time, brother, and sister-in-law. They all went to the shelter together to pick out 2 cats. I wasn't able to go to the shelter that day but I think they made a great choice! Jack (George at the time) was in one of the bottom cages and caught my nephews attention with his high pitched meow. When he approached my baby nephew and started rubbing on the cage, they knew he was the one. Jack and Sophies previous owner died and no one could care for them so they were brought to the shelter. He was 1 years old at the time of the adoption. Bio: He is a lap cat!! But only if we sit with our legs folded. Jack was super needy when he was the only cat in the house. But then we added more cats and his constant meowing stopped. His meow sounds exactly like a squeaky door and is very high pitched!! Jack needs to get his rabies shot this year, it's been 3 years since he got his last shot. I don't like vaccinating my cats every year because I've read and know people who's pets had bad reactions from over vaccinating. I'm going to see if the vet thinks he needs a dental because he has never had his teeth professionally cleaned yet.
Spring is here! And now all the cats want to go outside. They try to bolt everytime someone comes in or out!!! It's very annoying and frustrating! I think it's time to bring out the spray bottle and retrain them again! grrr
