Mumsy is a little late in posting 'bout my first Christmas...she apologizes.
It was great - there was paper everywhere and me and Marty got so many toys! The best of which is a set of cubes that link together to make tunnels! TUNNELS! Love it! I've been spending so much time sleeping in the tunnels, playing with Marty - jumping on top of the tunnels, running through them, chasing the little strings inside of the cubes.... The best is when Mumsy puts the ball-in-the-track toy right outside one of the cube openings and then I can stalk that ball with total freedom! It never sees me coming! Heh, heh, sneaky girl....
We also got a new camera from the grandpawrents that I have not met - Marty broke the old one somehow, so mumsy couldn't take pictures (Marty hates the paparazzi!), but now we are back in business and mumsy will be posting more pictures of us soon. And pictures of the awesome tube cube, so the pawrents of other kitties can start getting ideas!

I had another trip to the vet for a check-up on my incision from spaying. Mumsy took me all by herself, which was a big deal b/c she hates to drive! We did all right, me and mumsy. I am looking good, but I have another week's worth of antibiotic, just in case!

I am on medicine that tastes like bananas. I am doing ok, but at my recheck from the vet they said that I had a little discharge from my incision, so I am on antibiotics for a few days just to make sure that I will be ok.
I HATE IT! I don't trust mumsy and popsy anymore - at certain hours of the day, I just know that they are going to come after me with the bananas and I run and hide. But they always find me and I always have to eat banana medicine in the end, no matter how much I struggle.
Its a tough life for a little girl.

Well, this morning mumsy thought my lump looked bigger so she insisted that we go to the vet. The vet felt my lumps and then put cold stuff on my tummy and gave me an ultrasound so that he could see inside me and make sure I was ok. They decided it was a seroma, which is a little pocket of fluid. They drained it and it was nasty-looking and made mums and pops look away! But I am ok - no hernia or internal problems to be seen, so mums and pops are just s'posed to watch me carefully and check to see if the fluid comes back. If it does, I will have to get drained again and maybe some medicine. But I hope I will be ok!

Vet called and said that its probably a seroma, which is a little pocket of fluid that kitties sometimes get when they have abdominal surgery or spays. Also if kitties are really active after they are spayed, they can get a bump under the incision. Anyway, mums and pops are s'posed to watch me to make sure it doesn't get bigger or discolored or fluidy and they are supposed to put warm compresses on my tummy! I went and laid down on the bed with mums while she talked on the phone to grandpawrents tonight - I let her pet me and then I nibbled on her fingers and she noticed that I have gotten all my big teeth and they didn't even notice me losing the little ones!
Anyway, my special Angel, Olliekins is watching over me. Purr for me too, kitties!

My mumsy just noticed that I have a big swollen lump underneath the scar from my spay surgery and she is panicking! I was doing so well until she noticed this, now she is terrified that something is wrong. Popsy called the vet and now we are waiting to hear back.... Poor mums, she has gone through so much these last few months - with Ollie, with Marty, with her own health, and now this! Purr for me please!

I'm flattered but confused - I think I've been diary of the day two times this week! Mums is happy about it because she didn't get a chance to "screen capture" the page the first time, but I hope other kitties are getting a chance to shine too!

I went away in a cage today and spent the whole day at the vet. When I came home, my brother didn't know who I was - I smell different because they took away all my girl parts!
I don't know what this means.

I spent almost the whole day with my grandpawrents! It was fun - Marty and I were confused as to why there were people home in the middle of the day, but we got used to it pretty quickly. At one point, my grandpaw saw me sleeping and he put a little blankey on top of me so I wouldn't be cold. How nice is that? I just cuddled up in it and slept for hours! I hope I can see them again soon.

I am meeting my grandpawrents for the first time this weekend. They are really nice! Mums is mad because I cuddled more with them than I do with her! She thinks I like everyone but her, but she's wrong.

Well, I have finally settled in to my new home. I have been here for a little more than a week now. I was adopted and brought here on August 2, 2007.
I am a crazy little girl. I have so much energy no one can believe it. Everything is new to me and they have so many toys here! Mice and balls and crackly things and feathers and scratching posts. The most amazing thing is this round scratcher that has a track with a ball in it around the outside of the scratcher. I play with that thing for hours, chasing the ball around and around. One day I will figure out how to get the ball out! I also love to chase my tail and I love to sit in the shower and bat at the curtain.
I have a fur-brother named Marty who is going to love me eventually, I just know it. I am obsessed with him - I tried to groom him last night but that was too much for him, I guess.
I also have an angel fur-brother named Ollie. He guided my family and me to each other from the Rainbow Bridge, which I guess is a place where kitties go when they are really special because all they do there is have fun all the time! Ollie knew that my family was sad that he had to leave and that Marty was lonesome without a playmate, so he helped my family find me. What a nice angel. Now he has to watch over us both!
My mums has to post some pictures of me to liven this place up. But first, she needs to go buy me more food! Little kittens eat a lot!
