Arrival Story:
After Gator passed, we went to get a little girl named Gracie. The shelter vet refused adoption for Gracie, so we were asked to take Nemo because his Mom and sibling had only been there two days and probably not sick. Well, when we went to get Nemo after surgery, Gracie was feeling better but still had a few days to go (we hope she and Nemo's Mom have been adopted by now). Nemo's sibling had also been adopted and was waiting for his/her family. Nemo has been a wild child ever since.

Bio:
Nemo's Mom is a young Calico and his sibling is a tiger-patched Calico. Nemo is orange and white with white gloves and white boots. He still has long spriggs of hair and has finally grown legs (not a furball with eyes anymore). His eyes are still changing...they are sort of gray.

My First Rat!

A few days ago Mom looked over her shoulder at me climbing the printer and saw something on the wall. She thought it was a small bat, but it fell when I jumped at it and it fell under some papers on another desk. I found it and ran off towards the hall. Mom told Dad to catch me quick because I might try to show it to the girls while they were in bed. Mom was right. I ran under Katy's bed with it and Dad took it away. Fortunately Katy stayed asleep. It was a tiny baby rat and Mom wonders if it was the one we heard under the fireplace the night before. Dad put it outside before I could taste it because I don't have all of my shots yet.

They are so proud of me!!!!!

Tiny Tom Terrorizes Toddler

HeHeHe...I'm all doped up on kitty nip and feeling fine! Michaela brought her Legos in to build a tower and I attacked the bag before she could get into it. She screamed and threw my bear at me which I promptly attacked until I caught her trying to get into the Legos again. Then I climbed on the coffee table and attacked two empty water cups. Last week Mom had to throw out the turkey slices because I ate through the box while it was still in the grocery bag. I've been terrorizing the girls at night too. They don't like to shut their doors and there are plenty of places to hide when Mom and Dad come looking for me. I have done one nice thing for Michaela this week. She had a sting bug in her room one night and I slept on the rug next to her bed all night to protect her.

Mommy calls me her little alarm clock. She likes to hit the snooze button a lot, so after the second or third time, I climb on the bed and suck on her fingers. If that doesn't work, I knaw on them until she's too awake to go back to sleep.

Getting back to today's events, I just attacked Michaela and knocked her over. She giggled and I ran off. Time to stalk her some more.

Love, Nemo
