I woke up this morning. It was early, I still didn't know where I was, only that it was much colder and harder than my bed at home. I wanted to meow for mom and dad, but I could still see that dog, I didn't want him to know that I was here. I was getting real hungry by now, so I had to find some food.

My dad told me around this time, he too started getting worried, because I was nowhere to be found. There were some nights when I would venture out, but I'd always make sure that I was home by dawn. I wasn't there to greet him this time...

Mom missed me too, when dad gets up for work, I like to crawl in bed with her and cuddle up next to her. She's so warm and loving... she calls me her "boyfriend" and likes to make dad jealous.

God... I missed them.
