I used to work at a vet, and Kiki (then named Sima) was in for boarding A LOT with her pomeranian brofur. Their old Mom used to leave them so much and for so long, that our main Dr told her she should consider giving them different homes. Well, I was overjoyed when she agreed, because after spending so much time with her, I grew to love her so much. Only I was living with family in a house full of people and pets! What to do? I convinced my then boyfriend to take her in. She apparently had a nonresolved peeing problem that never went away. And she was so aloof and unaffactionate, I have to admit she was quite a problem-kitty. However, my then boyfriend was so kind and patient with her- even though he had to make sure NEVER to leave anything on the floor that she might get to, because she would definately mark it,- that from all that understanding, I decided to marry him, and I have never made a better desicion! Real Men Love Cats!!
Bio:
Kiki, I believe, was a kitten-mill kitten with a number of problems. She had truoble breathing sometimes because of her squished face. She went to the bridge Feb 07. She became sick one day and was not able to breathe well. It got worse, even after seeing the vet a few times, and they found a mass in her lungs. She was sick for a very short amount of time. Thank goodness. However, she was the first kitty I ever had to sign to be put to sleep, and that was so very difficult. But we have many pictures and stories and happy memories of Kiki, and we all love her dearly still!

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,

Thank you so much Autumn fur my wings!!!
I always did get along with doggies.
Mama was not quite as prepared as she thought she was to see me at the bridge. It is still a lil hard fur her.
Boogers and family remade my page, and reminded mama that it has been 1 year now since I have gone to the bridge. She did not realize it had been that long. It really seems like I was with her recently.
And now her eyes are leaking, and Lancelot is not there to lick them fur her.
Anyway, that is why I am not very active here. My typist has a hard time speaking fur me. Maybe that will change with a lil more time.

Kiki went to the bridge in Feb 2007. She was the first furry family member that this family ever had to send to the bridge from the vet office.
It was incomprehensibly difficult.
I am sure many of you understand.
We have many memories and many pictures and in the case of Lancelot: many scars.
We love you like no other, Kiki. You were like no other. Our house is sorely lacking in fur balls and pee stains.
And anyone who thinks her habits were deplorable, does not undertand the power of kitty love.
We love you, Kiki. Always. All we learned from you would have been sadly missing without your amazing presence.
