Arrival Story:
My mother found him in the parking lot of New Haven church. She was there at night for a meeting and saw a little orange kitten. He was very affectionate and did not want to be left. She told him "I'm going out to dinner now, I will be back in an hour. If you are still here, I promise I'll take you". Of course, an hour later, he was still sitting in the same spot. He has been ours ever since.

Bio:
When we got Haven, we didn't know much about cat ownership at all, so he was one of our 'learning experience' cats for the first several years. He roamed outdoors, fathering kittens and getting into serious cat fights. He ate low quality food and never saw the vet. In short, he used up 8 of those 9 lives pretty fast. Now, we know better and Haven is enjoying life as a healthy, indoor only pet. I love all of my cats, but he is my 'Heart Cat' and I cannot imagine life without him.
