Well today mom took me to the vet for the scabs I have around my neck. They have just been getting worse and now they are on my sides too.
Mom had Grandma bring over my crate from her house. Well when mom got my out to the car she realized that Ruben must have peed in it when he went to the vet. Grandma didn't even realize. So she decided to carry me into the vet.
I was such a good boy. I just cuddled in her arms the whole time. The waiting room was full and everyone was smitten by me. I was just sitting on moms lap all cuddled up to her looking around the room. Then a door opened really loud and I threw my little arms around her neck and barried my head under hers. All the people ooohed and awed over me. They said they could tell I trusted her with all my heart.
They all thought I was a handsome boy and talked about my big fuzzy feet. Mom had to put me down because I weigh 18 lbs and her arms couldn't take it anymore. I ended up just sitting next to her on the bench. I was really good in the exam room too. I even played with some stuff on the walls.
Overall i think I did my job of stealing hearts.
Lots of love,
Oh and I just have a skin allergy that i need to take a pill for. So it wasn't anything really really bad. Thank goodness for that.

Besides being a handsome man cat you are a gentlecat of the first order. I could never have done such as you! My feral beginnings make me shudder around hoomans besides my Pop!
I shall keep you in mind in my next trial at *whispers* the vet.
Wow cool! I am the only one of my family who is permitted to go to the vet 'not in a crate/carrier' The girls go each in one, but I wear my harness and leash and get to sit on my Angel's lap. (or crawl up her chest to put my paws around her neck and hide my head under her chin)
People always make a fuss and comment over me. The girls in their carriers get mostly ignored. It's fun!
Wow...you sure are a good boy. We all hide at the back of the crate hoping that they won't see us when we go to the vet. Yep,I think you stole some hearts! Glad to hear your scab thing was nothing too serious.
Your lucky you didn't have to go in the carrier for the car ride to the vets!
I'm glad the scab was nothing serious.
Hugs & Purrs,
Sorry you had to go to the vet, but glad to hear they were able to figure out why you had those scabs.
Wow - you are so brave. We hide in the carrier the whole time, and can't wait to get back in it when Mom takes us out in the exam room.
What pill are you taking? I've having an allergy problem myself (see my diary) and have gotten two shots but neither one has helped for long. In fact, I have to go back this week. I don't have any scabs though, just licking my fur away. Mom did see that it started with just one tiny little speck, though.
Gordy! Glad there is a solution for the scabs. As for stealing hearts? Not surprising ~you stole my moms just with your photos :)
