Arrival Story:
We adopted Belle from the ASPCA on March 14, 1993. We had wanted a little orange kitten, and went back several times looking for one, but they never had an orange one. It was too hard to leave all the homeless kitties each time, so on the last visit we picked Belle because she was so very pretty. She came home with us to our kitty family of six at the time.
Bio:
Belle was part of our original kitty family until the last one died at age 18 in March 2007. She was the only cat for 6 weeks (which she LOVED) until we adopted Mali who had six kittens. The influx of kittens was hard on Belle, but she finally came around and found peace with them. We've seen Belle touch noses and actually PLAY (you didn't see that!) Schatzi would even wash her ears for her.
Sadly we had to say good bye to Belle on October 24, 2009. Her kidneys failed her and she had gone deaf. She will be missed.
