Traumatic Move

We moved into a different place. I really like it here, but I wasn't crazy about moving. Daddy had to disuise our carriers and sneak us in at night so we would not be seen.

What's bad for me is I know this is a very different type of building, but I can't go out the front door to check things out. One night I did sneak past mommy and walk into the hall, and she chased me for about 10 minutes. There were all sorts of other doors and I meowed to see which one was really my door. I got scared when I didn't find my door, so mommy took me back in.

you know my mom is so ditzy i was tagged by my good friend seana awhile back and she just now noticed! DUH MOMMY!!!

back in the bedroom

as most of you had read on monster's and angel's diaries mom got into an argument with our neighbor who called mom fat, nasty and said we cats were dirty. mom got so upset she couldn't even go to work last night and stayed up until 630 this morning cleaning. she scrubbed our apartment from top to bottom, then she washed all of us, groomed us, and treated us with frontline. now just to let everyone know mom and dad are obsessively clean to beegin with... our litter boxes get changed every 3 to 4 days, we get groomed, wiped down, claws trimmed, treated for fleas...everything mom and dad can do. They take us to the vet. We get fed a lot. now granted when mom's going thru a spell where she's sick and angel gets destructive they do have trouble keeping up. however, mom gets well quick and cleans everything right back up. but now mom is in the bedroom trying to recover.

Being Me

I've been a bit of a meanie lately. I've been beating up on Monster, Angel of Peace and even Salem. I won't beat up Meatball, though. I'm just trying to prove to everyone I'm the head of this family. Meatball's the only one who really seems to understand this. Well, Salem does too, but I just beat her up to scare the others. Mommy an daddy get mad at me for being mean, but they need to understand this is my house.

feeling younger

I have to admit having Angel of Peace in the house has put a spring back into my step. We have learned no one is going anywhere so we are getting along. She plays a lot and I am starting to play with her.

I find myself growing and maturing further as a cat and that my human parents are also growing as people. It seems as though we all as a family and individuals know what we want and want to go about obtaining it.

That Darn Kitten!!

you know I've forgotten what it's like having baby siblings around.

Don't get me wrong I really like Angel o Peace but she really got on my nerves today. Meatball and I have been trying to explain to her that our mom is very ill with diabtes and CHF and really needs her rest (especially with the hours she works) but the hard-headed youngster didn't want to listen. She wants to sleep all night while mom's at work then have energy all day to keep mom from sleeping.

Daddy took off from his job today because he is off Monday for the federal holiday and wanted some extra time with the family. He has been playing with Angel to try to keep her occupied and to tire her out so she will let mommy sleep.

Well this afternoon daddy went to go see a movie and Meatball, Monster and I were on the bed with mom and guess who comes and wakes her up! I got so mad I hissed and gave her a swat across her face to let her know this was quiet time and she needed to lay down with us or go to the other room.

Meatball says I'm being too hard on the baby but my point is she needs to learn how to behave. Yes she's only four months old and mom thinks she's adorable but I don't want mom getting her rest cut short. We don't want her back in the hospital.

Mom cuddled me and told me she appreciated me looking out for her, but I do need to cut Angel a break. Mommy said the whole reason she invited the kitten to stay was to have some energy back in the house.

OK mom, um, like you and dad we cats get old and settle down too.

alpha male

mom doesn't seem to understand how i, being neutered, can have an alpha male attitude. i keep trying to tell her that it's just a state of mind, but she won't listen. i keep hearing talk that she might be bringing another cat into MY HOUSE.

we'll just see about that...

new year, new challenges

the new year brings many new challenges for our family. this will be dad's last year in school (unless he decides to pursue another degree) and things might actually look up for all of us. since we moved from our own house i have really come out of my shell and developed into a handsdome, confident cat. i even at times have monster conceding to my wishes.

i also have to say the furry federation has given me a great deal of confidence. i have in my opinion one of the best ships and the best crew. i also have met my sweet girl wicked. i feel very fortunate.

new year's eve

I am quite excited about our federation party today, and here are my resolutions:

1. to loosen up and not be so serious
2. to hopefully be married by mid 2008
3. to possibly make Admiral next year
4. to get my brother Meatball to Captain
5. to have as much fun as possible
