January 09, 2009~~~

Wow! Where has my cat-year gone! Long time no write. Well, it hurts my paws to pluck these here keys. My meomy sometimes does it furr me but I guess I gotta get my paws goin'.

Let's see, where to begin. Prow, I last pawed in October, oh yeah, that's when all heck broke loose 'round here. My pawrents were gone a lot in Oct and Nov and we aren't 'lowwed to paw the computer when they aren't here. First they went to MGM Studios, whatefur that is then next it was my meomy's BIG purrday and pawpaw surprised her with a weekend in St Augustine with her daughters (my aunts). We saw the pictures and it looked like a lot of fun. Then Thanksgiving they went on this BIG ship and were gone again. We got lots of lovin' though from Miss Kay, our cat-sitter. She is so terrific! She comes twice a day and plays with us, changes our water, fresh food AND even cleans our loo!! She loves us like her own kitties.

Then, it was the middle of Dec. and pawpaw has vacation till Jan 5 and we got so excited that we would have some extra paw-paw time, but NO! Off they go again for a road trip! Hrumpf. I hear it was Biloxi. I hope they didn't lose all their money! We need a lot to keep us in the life we are accustomed to.

Well, furriends, that brings us up to Jan 9!!! Happy Mew Year effurycat!!!!

Just got back....

.... from Goldie's place.

Goldie is my gurl-friend friend from up north and
I jetted up and brought her back to the beach for
a few days.

We spent pawsome days strollin' the beach,
cat-fishing and dancin' under the stars and palm trees.
I really luv my Goldie. She be coming down again.

My Caturday!!

Well!!!! It was NOT pleasant.
First, I was walked into my carrier.
That was okay, I sometimes do it on my own.
THEN, out to this big thing with wheels on it
and I get strapped into the seat! Oh, this is
sorta nice. Meomy and Paw-Paw are with me,
what bad could happen.

Well, we get to this place and in we go. I see
other kitties walking around and a tiny doggy
on a leash. Nothing to complain about yet.

Pretty soon this cutie girl comes out and says
"Sammy." In we go to this tiny room. She helps
me out of the carrier and off we go to get weighed.
She comes back and tells us what a big boy I am,
11 pounds. THEN all h..l breaks loose! Next thing
I know there is this thingie going into me and I
did not like it one bit!! Something about a fee-cal
exam! Well, they can keep that! That's when I
showed my true temper and tried to bite my
paw-paw and this here Dr. that has come in.
He could see how stressed I was and had the
cutie girl get a towel and cover me with it.
Whew!!! That was nice. Then he precedes to examine
me and keeps saying how good I am. THEN, when
I am all nice and relaxed this HUGE needle comes into
my back and I let them know I am still stressed.
Another shot and it is over. He checked my fur and
said I am clean and another 'what a good boy you are'!

Now, he checks my mouth. He doesn't like that at all
and my meomy almost faints. It is all red around my
gums and the doc says that I need to have my teeth
cleaned! Can you imagine????? I don't know what
that means but I don't think I am going to like it
very much. Meomy ask how we can prevent this in
the future and the doc says that she can brush my teeth!
Now, I KNOW I wouldn't like that!!!!

We finally get back home and I ignored them pretty much
for the rest of the day.

Today is business as usuall but I don't efur want to go there
again!!!!

Is sleeping or eating an olympic sport? Momma doesn't seem to think so but if they were I would get the gold.

today s the day i get my sweet Goldie.
right now i am flying off to nova scotia
and will bring goldie back to florida ...

Boy, I am tired!

Whew, I've been out polishin' up the jet to fly up
to Nova Scotia for my honey, Goldie! She's coming
down for a vist while her pawrents are on vacayshun,
what-efur that is. Maybe it is like when my pawrents
leave me an Oliver for awhile.

We be doin' some beach cruisin' and fishin. I gotta
show her off to my cat-buds down here. She a
cutie all right!!!!!!
