Oh my oh my oh my. I'm so excited. It's almost here. My favourite day on Catster. Oh my yes!
You should know by now that my favourite month on Catster is September - Pirate month!!!! Ooooo how I love that time of year. Arrrrrrr!
But, did you know, have you figured out, that my favourite DAY is....

CINCO DE MAYO?!!!! Yes! The 5th of May! It's almost here. Only 11 more days. OMC!!!
Get your Cinco de Mayo on kitties and get ready for the FIESTA! And HQ? How about loading up the Gift Shop with the sombrero rosie that you've had in years gone by?

Oh my oh my oh my. Someone SAVE ME, PLEASE!!! Save me from the EVIL that is mother. OMC!!!
Last year mother announced that a new house was gonna be built next door. Holy Catnip! It was scary at first but me and my bros got used to the noise pretty quick so all in all it wasn't too bad an experience. And the nice man who tore down the existing house did let me play with his backhoe... :)
Well, I guess mother was disappointed that we weren't as upset as she thought we would be so she's gonna make up for it this year. OMC!! She says she's gonna have the kitchen renovated. NOOOOOO!!! She's bringing that scary stuff right into MY home! OMC!!! I'll never survive this. OMC!!!
Mother says she wishes she could put us off site somewhere while the work gets done but it's gonna take a few weeks and she says we're gonna get extremely stressed out if she boards us someplace for that long. Soooo...the less stressful choice seems to be for us to stay put. OMC!!!! If there's no kitchen where's our food gonna come from? I'm gonna starve! Someone SAVE ME!! HELP!!!

Oh my oh my oh my. A few weeks ago mother sent away for a special coupon. She had to send a store receipt plus 5 proofs of purchase to get it. Today the mailman delivered that coupon to our house. OMC!!!!
Do you know what that coupon was for? Do you kitties? Do you???
OMC!! I love the mailman!!
That coupon was for FIVE FREE CANS OF WELLNESS CAT FOOD!!!!!! OMC!!!!!!!!
Mother went to the pet food store tonight and redeemed that coupon for FIVE FREE CANS OF WELLNESS CHICKEN AND HERRING!!!!!! OMC!!!!
Now, if only she remembers to open a can and put the food in my dish and put the dish on the floor....

Oh my oh my oh my. I just happened to check our Catster emails now and one says that I'm a DDP today! EEEEEeeeee, thanks HQ! It would be really pawsome if you could get the Diary Central page working again so we could see our gorgeous and handsome selves there when we're honoured.
I must also thank HQ for finally putting a kitty at the top of the page instead of that scary Cat Chic. *giggles*
While I'm here I'd like to ask all you kitties to purr for my bestest pal, *Boogers*. He's sick right now and has the saddest looking red, goopy eyes. Well, at least one eye was red and goopy but both were sad. His mom is worried about him too so purrs really would be appreciated.

Oh my oh my oh my. It's my birthday today and mother RUINED it! I'm putting myself up for adoption right this minute!
It's not like she forgot it was my special day. When mother woke up this morning and saw me she sang "Happy Birthday" to me. I could have done without that but I decided to endure it because BETTER things were to come.
Last night I saw her take a can of Wellness Chicken and Herring out of the cupboard and put it on the counter. OMC!!! I was so excited that I could barely sleep last night.
When mother went into the kitchen this morning I got all excited again. Wellness goodness was imminent! BUT it wasn't. OMC!!! Mother opened the cupboard and brought out a can of my regular food and gave half of it to me for breakfast as if it were just any old day. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Tonight she gave me the rest of the can of regular food. It was only after she started eating her dinner and glanced over at the counter that she noticed the Wellness can. All she said was, "Oh. Sorry Pansy. I completely forgot."
NOT GOOD ENOUGH, mother. YOU WILL PAY!!!!

Oh my oh my oh my. A ginormous envelope arrived here with MY name on it. OMC!!!! Inside were birthday prezzies from my bestest bestie, Boogers!
Boogers is the most handsomest EVIL wonderful kitty EVER! He sent me a big heart shaped chocolate box filled with mousies. A whole baker's dozen!!!! He also gave me a pretty kitty mat for ME to lounge on. Sully and Kovo, KEEP OFF!!!!
THANK YOU Boogers for helping to make my birthday extra special spectacular!

Oh my oh my oh my. It's less than a month until spring and we're still waiting for winter to arrive. I think someone stole it this year.
This past Thursday all the TV and radio stations got all excited. They reported that a BIG snowstorm was headed our way. They advised folks to stay home unless they absolutely had to go out on Friday. The city and province had all their snow clearing equipment ready to roll. School closures were likely. OMC!! Snowmageddon was imminent!
Well, Friday came and let's just say the weather forecast was a tad over-hyped. The temperature was a bit above freezing so all we got was some wet snow in the morning followed by rain in the afternoon. It got really windy Friday night so by this morning everything was gone from yesterday. Streets were all dry and no snow anywhere. Ho hum.... This winter it's been almost like living in New Mexico or Arizona where they never have any weather!
