Bio:
Snooky is a wonderful, loving kitty-cat. She talks all the time and has lots and lots of fur! I was so happy to have found her. I mostly enjoy our quality time in the evening when I give her Pounce Treats that she loves! If she could speak English, she would say, "I love life, just the way it is." Cats live in the moment. Snooky suddenly developed a bad sinusitis early in May 2008 and a few weeks later a large bump developed within 36 hours. It turned out to be lymphoma, but Snooks was treated with chemo and TLC, and she's here--still enjoying life--nearly 2 years later. The tumor was very localized, and she took the treatment like a tiger! We both need to thank the South Paws Hospital so much. Thank you for all the gifts from the wonderful kitty-cats out there! Today is the 2-year anniversary of the diagnosis and she takes chemo intravenously every 8 weeks, with some smaller doese every 2 weeks (which I give her by mouth). She gained back a lot of her outter coat and her tail is thick and furry again! Thanks for all the prrrrrrrs! Snooky remains in remission, she plays and eats and sleeps. What else is there for a kitty cat???? Again, we're so grateful to the doctors at South Paws Vet clinic and also all my neighborhood and catster friends for support. Snooky will just keep purring along and loving life. And now, July 21, 2012 -- more than 4 years after Snook's diagnosis, she has passed peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge. She was a brave, brave angel and she showed many friends that a diagnosis of nasal lymphoma need not be a grim event--it just puts you on a different path. Snook's path was wonderful. She continued to enjoy life and leasure--she was loving up to the end. I will add some tips on the "Nasal Lymphoma" group for all you moms of kitties with the same and please don't hesitate to contact me. Snooky and I -- we went through this together and it was a beautiful. loving journey for us both. Goodbye my sweet angel. I will always always treasure you.

Hi my friends -- just checking in! I'm having a good winter, watching everthing happen through the front window. Sometimes I go out on the back deck and stay there for a while on my bed. It makes my fur thicker! I survived chemo therapy for 2 years and I'm doing ok. I sleep a little more, but I eat and play as usual. I hope you all have a great year. Can't wait for Spring!
