Arrival Story: My human sister found me in the parking lot of her workplace as she was leaving for the day. I was a tiny thing, no more than a few weeks old, trying to eat the remains of a pop tart that someone had thrown on the ground. I followed her to her car and I guess she just couldn't leave me there, because she took me home. I've been with the family ever since!
Bio: I'm 17 years old but my humans think I look a lot younger. My mommy and daddy suspect I was abused before they got me since I'm so skittish and hate hands and feet. I love to be scratched on the head and sit in my mommy's lap, but don't enjoy being picked up or held. Even after 17 years with my family I still retain some feral qualities.
UPDATE: In May of 2008 Annie disappeared from the deck in our back yard. We searched, distributed flyers...several weeks later her body was found in a driveway in the neighborhood. The neighbor called us using our phone number on the "missing" flyer.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Simba's 6th Birthday Pawty!!
I'm pleased to announce that my v*t visit went well yesterday. My BUN and creatinine numbers were improved from my last visit, which means my kidneys are working better. Yay!!! Dr. Yvonne and her staff are very nice, but I still get nervous at the v*t. I kept wanting to jump off the table back into my carrier. Rusty also had a routine checkup that turned into a bit of an emergency situation when his blood sugar dropped sharply. He's home and doing fine now, but it was a close call. You can read more about his adventure yesterday in his diary.
Well, Rusty and I both have appointments at the v*t tomorrow for checkups. Ugh.... At least I don't have to be sedated like Rusty does! I'm usually a pretty good girl with Dr. Yvonne but I do hiss a bit once I've had enough "handling." Rusty, he just plain gets MAD at the techs. So now he's sedated before any examination so it's less stressful on Rusty, the vet and techs, and mommy and daddy!
This past weekend was "Talk Like ze Isaac Veekend" in the Olde Furts group. The event was to honor the fabulous Isaac, who is one of the coolest and most stylish cats on Catster! All of us Olde Furts put on our feather boas and finery and partied with Isaac the whole weekend. What a blast! All the dancing really wore out this old gal, though! MOL!
