I am SEVEN!

Dear Diary,

I am now SEVEN years old! I've had a pretty good year, except for my excursion outside, where I met some not-so-nice kitties who shared FLEAS with me! I found out I am allergic to FLEAS so mom and dad had to take me to the VET to help me stop itching.

I caught my VERY FIRST MOUSIE on my last day as a six-year-old. Now I am a real grown up Mighty Hunter! I wasn't quite sure what to do with mousie, but dad knew... he put it in a box and took it outside. I kept looking for mousie but it didn't come back. I looked and looked in the kitchen.

And I had a 25-hour birthday! WOW, what cat would be so lucky to have an extra hour to nap! ME!! I made sure I used my extra hour wisely with a quality nap in the sunlight at the back window on the top of my kitty condo. Life is pretty good for me.

I also want to say 'Thank You' to the Catster kitties and doggies who sent my birthday wishes and gifts. It's nice to be part of such a wonderful big family. I especially am thankful for my bfofur-in-law Smoke. He is married to my sisfur Tansey. Smoke became an Angel this year, but as an Earth Angel he comes back often to visit and watch over us. Tansey loves him very much and she was very sad when Smoke left for the bridge. She is much happier now that Angel Smoke can come to visit and watch their daughter Smokey grow up. I love my sisfur too, but what she and Smoke have is special and I am happy for them, so I wanted to talk about them on my special birthday.

Wow! I was Cat of the Day on July 1, 2010 and was I ever surprised!!

Kittehs concatulated me ALL DAY and even into the NEXT DAY! I feel like a Hollywood Star!

Thank you Catster for choosing me. Thank you brofur-in-law Smoke for giving my sisfur Tansey and me a Catster Plus membership and for my gift as COTD. You're a great brofur-in-law!

My Birthday Again!

My my! Another year has gone by. And today I'm FIVE years old! I was sleeping with Meowmy and wasn't too happy when she got up with Daddy at 4:30. Meowmy is trying to be good and go to the gym more often, but she doesn't always make it. That's ok, it means more time to sleep with her i the mornings.

This morning she stretched me and scritched me just where I like it. I talked to her a little bit, yawned, but decided I'd stay on the soft bed while they got ready for work and the gym.

I wonder what Meowmy will have special for me today? She's been talking about something called a Furminator, but if it's all the same to her, I'd just as soon have more of those crunchy treats Daddy bought me last week.

Birthday Boy!

Today I'm four years old! I was born the afternoon of a lunar eclipse. My meowmy Judy thinks that's pretty cool. Today I was all stretched out when Meowmy got up for work. I wanted a belly rub and she gave it to me. I licked her hand in appreciation, then went back for a nap.

I think I'll nap for a good part of the day, and then see what kinds of treats I get from meowmy and daddy. I hope they play with my favorite toy with me, I just love my feather toys.

My big sister Tansey likes to play and she's taught me a lot of games that I like to play too. My favorite one is carrying my toy to my meowmy and daddy and asking them to play with me. They always do.

Yes, it's good to be me today. Except when meowmy had to clean butt noodles off me today, I didn't like that a whole lot.
