Arrival Story: I had contacted the local rescue organization to let them know I would be interested in fostering cats and they brought Ebony to my house. She fit in so well, that we kept her.
Bio: Someone hit her in the head with a baseball bat when she was about 2 years old. One of our neighbors down the road found her and came to our house to let us know. The vet said she would probably not live, but I noticed that everytime I came to see her at the hospital, she would perk up, so I took her home. The first night she crawled up on my chest and slept there all night long. She had to relearn how to eat and drink, but was eating solid food 2 days later. The power of love is an awesome thing.
