Going for strolls...

Mom got us a new blue Pet Gear AT3 stroller and we get to go for strolls now! I love it! I feel very safe and secure in my stroller and I get to watch the world go by and get fresh air! Mom took me to the nursing home where she works today in my stroller and I did pretty good. I was just a little nervous with all the strange sounds, smells, and people. A few people chuckled and smiled and said they thought Mom had a baby in the stroller at first until they looked closer! Needless to say, I was a big hit with the residents too!

TCA Cat Show

Wow! Mom entered me in the Traditional Cat Association (TCA) Purebred photo show a few months ago (just for fun) and we just found out I won! I received 1st place Traditional European Burmese Best Kitten (2-4 months), 1st place Best Couch Potato, 3rd place Silly Poses, and co-4th place Purebred Champion Kitten. I am so excited and Mom and Dad are so proud of me! To see the results TCA show

My new play area

I've figured out how to get up inside the basement ceiling and like to play up there. Okay, so I damaged two ceiling tiles - I didn't mean to, but Mom and Dad are not too happy about that. Dad went to the hardware store yesterday and bought some supplies to block me off from my new play area. I can't believe it!

More Mischief...

Last night I stole Dad's stuffed toy dog off of his computer desk. It took Mom and Dad all day to find him! They have now hidden him away in a secret place so I can't steal him to play with again. Eventually I think I'll find him. I retailated by attacking and shredding a roll of paper towels Mom left on the kitchen counter after they went to bed. Mom found the mess this morning when she got up. That should teach them to spoil my fun.

More Antics

Well, I found some more mischief! I like to jump on top of Mom 's big 44 gallon aquarium and I finally got the fish food that Mom left on top. Mom and Dad found the open container of fish food in front of the aquarium this morning complete with tooth marks! Hey - I tried to act innocent but Mom and Dad didn't buy it. Mom spent the morning vacuuming what was left of the fish food out of the carpet. Sorry Mom - it was yummy though! Mom and Dad still can't figure out how I unscrewed the cap!

Mom also didn't seem to think it was very cute when I jumped into the fridge (freezer on bottom model) tonight when she was trying to get something to drink after work. What's with these people? Why do they keep the most tempting food so inaccessible?

Oh, Mom also found one of her hair ties on the stairs. I couldn't resist. Isn't it strange that she uses a great cat toy to tie her hair back and then doesn't like me playing with it?

My latest trick

Mom caught me up on the living room curtain rods twice now. Today she managed to get a few pictures and posted them on my page. Mom's pretty sure I jump up there off the back of the couch - quite the leap! She's not sure what I find so interesting up there and is hoping she doesn't find the curtain rods and curtains on the floor someday. Mom joked she should have named me Dennis the Menace after all my antics!

Paper Towels and Friend Bunny

Well, I found another roll of paper towels to attack last night on the dining room table. Mom and Dad found the shredded remains of the paper towels on the floor this morning - and it was a new roll so lots to shred! Dad is calling me Shreddy Krueger now! I also shredded a roll of toilet paper last week. Mom's worried that this is becoming an obsession.

I also have a new friend, a bunny that hangs around the house and checks under my bird feeders for food. He's cute and I love to watch him and talk to him. If Mom or Dad get too close to the window he takes off though. He doesn't mind me, he's my friend and I could watch him and talk to him all day.
