Thank you from the bridge...

Thank you everyfur for all the messages and gifts you have sent me and my family while I was sick and when I left for the bridge. You are all very special and mom will be responding to every one of you very soon.

Mom and my sibs are missing me greatly but are at peace with letting me go. Your support is very much appreciated. Purrs and headbonkers to all of you.

It's time...

Mom and my doctor are going to assist me to the bridge this afternoon at 4:30 pm. Mom's heart is breaking but she knows this is best for me and that I am ready to go.

I'm just not responding well to the chemo or any of the drugs to make me feel better. The blood transfusion raised my red blood cells abit but my cancer is apparently too aggressive for me to fight.

Mom says grandpa will meet me at the bridge along with all of my fur angel furriends. :)

I'll be watching over all of you, especially you Toby, so you better behave. Mom did take me to our new house before I got real sick, so I know where my fursibs and mom will moving and I will be there in spirit.

Until we meet at the bridge....

Gettin old not's for sissies.....

The past 2 weeks have not been very good days for me. About 2 weeks ago mom took me to the vet as I seemed to have an upset tummy and was not eating well for over a week. Unfortunately the doctor said I have lymphoma cancer. :(

I met my new cancer specialist last week and had my first round of chemo on Thursday. I did ok for the first day or so, but the past couple of days I haven't been doing very well. Now I'm in the Emergency Hospital as my red cell count (HCT) has dropped from 33% about 2 weeks ago to 14.6% today.

I'll be getting a blood transfusion to buy time for doctors to figure out what is going on with me and for mom to talk to the cancer specialist on Tuesday.

Like I say... gettin old not's for sissies....

Hopefully they will let mom visit me this evening but if not, she promised to come to get me tomorrow.
