My dear friend, Anita, adopted Mitzi as a kitten from the Humane Society. Anita developed Scleroderma and was quite ill. Mitzi was a great comfort to her. The day I graduated with a Masters Degree, Anita died. Her brother called and said Anita wanted me to have Mitzi as a graduation present, and because she knew I would take good care of her. Redford would also be there to keep her company, and the two cats already were playmates. Of course, I said yes, and Mitzi joined our family.

Mitzi is a true Princess! She expects to be pampered, fed and petted upon request, and doted upon constantly. (She gets her way!)
