Arrival Story:
Brother of Smeagol and Chin. Uncle to Chloe, Morwath and Pullman. Was a stray for a while and looked beautiful but dirty. We took him off the street to join his sister Smeagol inside.

Bio:
Deagol has been suffering with a seemingly undiagnosable neurological condition since May. He continues to go up and down, but things aren't looking so good for Papa. If you find this profile, please send up a prayer or some good energy for our boy. From all we've heard from his doctors, there is still a chance he may come back, then again, if it really is a brain tumor, it's just a matter of time. Deagol was finally diagnosed with invertebral disc disease. It seemed as though he was on a path to recovery and we were hoping to save enough money to give him the surgery he needed. Unfortunately due to complications from long term steroid use, he didn't make it and died suddenly, but not nearly quickly enough. We will miss our sweet papa, our Deagol love. The best cat anyone could ever have. From his sweet disposition he taught me that even if a cat, or a person, knocks you back again and again, there's nothing wrong with stopping on your path to clean them and love them, or in the case of humans, to give them another chance. Deagol, you will be forever missed and loved until we meet again in the Summerlands, or at the Rainbow Bridge. As my friend Michelle recently told me, when we get there we might need padded suits, we will be met by so many lost children at once, it will be an overwhelming joy! You are forever young to us now Papa, we love you.
