Whew! What a First Day on Catster!

Hello all!

Well, I must say that my first day on Catster was just super! I met so many wonderful new friends and have a Turkish (like moi!) admirer already -- I feel like such a diva, well, even more than usual that is. ;)

Some piccies of me monitoring Cat TV and taking my sips out of the kitchen faucet (of course whilst monitoring my mum....she really needs that) have been uploaded today, I hope you all enjoy them!

Thanks to all of my new friends and now to sit on Mum's lap and have a look at all of your diary entries and the new groups that I've become involved in.

New here at Catster!

Hi everyone! My name is Sugar and I am a white, female Turkish Angora and am the proud owner of four humans, although one is gone for a year overseas with the military. I live indoors and do have to share the house with a one-year old black labrador named Major and two gerbils named Mimi and Bonnie. I prefer to think of the gerbils as "mousies" and enjoy sitting on top of the mesh screen on top of their aquarium home. They don't seem to worry about me much but my humans refer to them as "cat TV" as I do enjoy watching them for long stretches of time. To be honest I am working out a plan to liberate them and have a nice play time together. *giggles*

I love my family and home and very much do not enjoy having to leave it for any reason at all. Thankfully I am extremely healthy and really only have to head to the vet once a year for my annual checkup. *whew* I'd really not like doing that more than once!

The only food that I like to eat is the dry version of Felidae's cat food. My mum puts Cat Bloom vitamins on it too and I enjoy that. I don't really use my water bowl for much more than splashing in and take most of my "sips" via the various water faucets around the house. I have my humans trained to put them onto a slow stream when I perch regally sinkside. Did I mention that I love them? :) I do take some roasted chicken sometimes and like it with a small dab of mayonaisse -- just puurfect. Not too often though, lest I tire of it. Sometimes I like some milk in a china tea cup set on a saucer. I dip my paws in and lick them off.

I also like to jump and lie on top of the TV, particulary when the folks are watching it. It's fun to look down and bat the images as they move across the screen! It's also nice and warm up there when it's "on" so I often nap there if I'm not sitting on my mum's lap during movie night.

Well, that's enough about me.
