Likes:
J's sandals! Getting the tabby "M" on my forehead rubbed. Getting water from anywhere except my water bowl. Watching the toilet flush. Playing. Napping (of course).

Pet-Peeves:
Not many; I'm pretty laid-back. Minor gripes include noise (especially the vaccuum cleaner) and my humans making any sudden moves.

Favorite Toy:
My Cat Dancer. Curly string. Bottle caps. Come to think of it, isn't everything small and tossable a toy, really?

Favorite Nap Spot:
Anywhere warm and soft, as long as I don't suspect it's a designated cat bed.

Favorite Food:
Plain kibble. Malt paste.

Skills:
Chirping. Intercepting walking human legs (preferably on stairs). Warming laps and hearts.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
I still don't quite understand what went wrong in my previous life and how I ended up in a cage in a strange place. Something about my previous guardian and a retirement home and them not allowing cats? The shelter folks were very nice, but I was scared and confused, and I also felt a really bad kitty cold coming on. But then K showed up and came straight to my cage. I found out later that she had seen my profile on the shelter website. Check out the mug shot - how could she not have fallen for that? In any case, it sure was hard to hold back that first sneeze until after I was officially adopted! I was feeling awful, but I so badly wanted to make a good impression and go to a new home that night. I had had just about enough already of being stuck in a cage! When we got home, despite feeling under the weather, I made sure to explore everything thoroughly right away. I approved. But then the first night was pretty rough. I started to sneeze and wheeze horribly, keeping us both up. K seemed quite worried. The next morning, when she put me back in the carrier to take me to the vet, I thought I had blown it and was being taken right back. I didn't know her well enough then to know that she would never do that! It took me a little while to get all better and to fully warm up to K, but over time we've come to really like each other.
