My 2nd Birthday

Today I turned 2. I am lucky to be here. I had a rough start to my young life but I was lucky enough to be rescued and then lucky to find my pawrents. I am a very happy and healthy kitty. I have a mommy and daddy who love me and brofurs and sisfurs that I love and love me too...even Melodie. For my birthday wish I wish that other kitties like me find their forever homes.

My secret Pal

I have a secret pal from the 3 Amigo's group...It is so much fun. I have bunch of rosette's from them. I have a secret pal too. I send them rosette's and leave them treats. If my secret pal is reading...Thank you so much.

As some of you may have noticed most of us kitties in the house have a last name and and a number after...That is for our Pittsburgh Penguins. It is playoff time. A very exciting time. We each have a players last name and number. Mommy and Daddy were lucky and got to go to a few games.

Tiger Ranch

Today an animal sanctuary by us was raided by the ASPCA. They found over 700 cats. Many of them were sick and unfortunately some had passed on. Mommy had gone to the Tiger Ranch not too long ago. She had picked up Sunny and thought it would be a good place for Sunny to go and live her life because Mommy didn't think adding a fifth cat to the house was an option. After visiting Mommy decided she couldn't leave Sunny there as it had just too many kitties. Although we do not condone what the woman did we thoroughly believe she meant well when she started tiger ranch. It was supposed to be a haven for feral and stray cats. As we all know there are too many people who do no take their pets to be spayed and neutered. We think the owners just got overwhelmed with the kitties and she was the type of person who could not say no. We needed to get this off our chest. Looking back Mommy is certainly happy that she did not leave Sunny or Beamer there. We are glad we kept them here...Had them spayed and neutered and brought them into our crazy home. What's two more kitties???

Sorry for the seriousness of the issue we just had to let it out. Here is wishing all kitties a happy and healthy life.

Hi Everyfur...

Things have been hectic as usual at my house. Mommy has been so busy with school so I have been keeping all the other kitties in line. What a job. Mommy did have to take Beamer to vets last night. He has been sounding a little congested and has a bit of a cough. Mommy took him to see Dr. Lisa just to make sure. She put him on an antibiotic. He has been eating and drinking like normal. Just a cough with some congestion.

I am so excited we are having a St. Patrick's day party at the 3 amigo's come Sept 7th. I have to get my jig down and find something green to wear. I can't wait.

I hope everyfur is doing well.

Oh what a weekend!

Hi everyfur! Oh what a weekend I have had.

I attended the 3 Amigos luau on Friday night. Oh what fun I had. I got to dance in the performance with Winnie, Jo Jo, Ariel, Adam & Flora Cat. I was so nervous. I was afraid I was going to make a mistake. Luckily I didn't. I couldn't stay too late though because I had to go to the vet Saturday morning.

The vet wasn't too bad. I got two shots. Dr. Sharon kept saying how pretty I was. That made me purr the entire time. Who purrs at the vet's office. I must be insane. I wasn't feeling well that night so I was unable to attend the Valentine's Dance at 3 Amigos. I was disappointed but hopefully I will be able to make the next dance.

Then today I got the best news...I am the 3 Amigos kitty of the week!!!!! How exciting is that! I would like to thank everyone for this great honor. I was so excited when mommy told me. I kept dancing around now I am tired.

Hello All

Hi everyone,
Buddha is feeling so much better. He is back to driving mommy crazy. He's jumping and howling like nothing was wrong. Thank you all who sent him purrs and rosettes and stars. He really appreciates it.

I have been helping mommy the past few nights. Daddy has been away so she needed help with laundry and dishes. Of course we did make a little mess chasing each other. We spilled food all over the floor...she wasn't too happy about that. I got to go Mommy needs help making the bed.

Hi everyone. I am a little concerned today. Mommy and daddy took my brofur Buddha Mittens to the vet for his check up and shots. His check up went really well. They said his heart is doing well. It doesn't sound any worse then when they found it last year. They see no signs of his HCM getting any worse. Mommy and Daddy were so excited. That is great news!

Buddha however is not feeling well right now. Mommy and Daddy think it is just your normal vaccine reaction. No appetite, a little lethargic that kind of stuff. They are keeping a close eye on him though. He is resting comfortably in bed with Mommy right now. So if you all get a little time can you send good thoughts Buddha's way. He has always been such a great brofur to me.

Almost a Year

It was my first Christmas in my new home...Well I guess it isn't really new anymore. On January 7th, it will be one year since I came to live with my Mommy and Daddy. They love me so much. I love them too. I love my brofurs, Wally, Buddha Mittens, and even Beamer. Beamer, Sunny, & I have so much fun. I am glad that Mommy and Daddy brought them home to live with us. Melodie is still being a little difficult. She doesn't stalk me too much any more I now stalk her. Mommy isn't too happy about that...I have been getting the spray bottle more then usual lately. I even got put in to timeout one night. Can you believe that? It didn't last very long though as I can be very loud and annoying when I am behind closed doors.

I love to sleep with Mommy at night. She likes it too but not when I lick her...she hates it when I lick her. I must go I think I here mommy in the kitchen

It's been a while

It's been a while since my last diary entry. A lot has changed at the house. I have a new sister. Her name is Sunny. Mommy found her on the street. She is my new best friend. We have so much fun together. I love to chase her around the house.

I wrote in my diary some time ago about Beamer...Beamer is Sunny's brofur. He lives with us now! Mommy finally caught him about a month ago. Mommy needs to add him to Catster though. He doesn't seem to like me. He chased me the other day. He was just protecting his territory. We are hoping that now that he is neutered he will calm down a little. I hope so too...he looks like he would be loads of fun to play with. I am all about playing!!!

Operative In Training

Buddha has me in training. He doesn't think mommy and daddy suspect anything. See we are working as a team to try and get outside without our leashes attached. He believes that they won't suspect me because I could care less if I go outside.

Buddha has taught me how to open the kitchen door. Mommy and Daddy always put a chair by the window so we can look out but what they don't realize is that it gives me easy access to the door handle. On Buddha's signal I push it down and while I am pushing he is pushing the door open with his head. For some reason it won't open.I am surprised as Buddha has a BIG head. We may have to recruit the two long hairs...Hmmm. Any suggestions?
