404 page not found error

I know everyone is having problems reading and commenting on diary entries. I wrote to Catster last night and I thought you all would be interested in knowing what they had to say.

This is my message to HQ:

We get a 404 page not found error when trying to read diary entries from the recent activity page. it says:

Cat's got our tongue! We can't locate the page you are looking for. Perhaps we left the server door open, and the Catster Cat ate it. (Just kidding she's quite well-trained.)

Please check the spelling of the URL you entered. If you previously had this page bookmarked, it may no longer be available.

Or, the page may have moved to a new location. Please use the navigation
>above and at left to help you find it. You can also search the site or head back to the homepage.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you keep romping around and having fun!

We also get the same message when we go to the cats page to read the diary and try to leave a comment on the diary entry.

Here is their reply:

You may be experiencing slowness on Catster & Dogster, as well as Diary view and Diary post view "Page Not Found" errors.

We are very sorry, but until we can quarantine the script and target any misuse, we have to keep Diaries offline. It's unfortunate that this happened on a Sunday afternoon when it is harder to get the necessary team together to fix the problem.

We hope to have this fixed before the end of the day today.

We regret any inconvenience.

Evidently the problem was harder then they expected because it's still not fixed but hopefully it will be soon.

Wow!!!

Wow!! Dad logged on this morning and got a huge surprise! I'm one of the diary picks today! I want to thank everyone that sent congratulation messages and cool gifts on my page!

My new sister Iris has settled in pretty well, sometimes I think too well. :/ She isn't hissing at me anymore and we have been playing now and that's pretty cool BUT she's taking over all my stuff! She eats out of MY bowl and plays with MY toys and now she decided that she can sleep in MY bed! She has her own bowl and bed and Mom and Dad even gave her toys of her own but she insists on using my stuff. :/

My brothers think she's the coolest thing and are always giving her attention. What?? That attention was always mine before! Mom and Dad keep loving me and telling me what a good boy I am but I've decided to give them the cold shoulder for awhile. After all they are the ones that brought her in here! I've made up with Mom a little bit but I'm still a little miffed at Dad because he's the one that carried her in here.

My sister is home! I think I like her but she is afraid of me. :( She is fine with me if I'm in the same room with her but if I try to sniff her she hisses and growls at me. I don't hiss and growl at her because I'm a good boy and only want to be her friend, so I just lay down and and hope she will come and see me.

She doesn't hiss and growl at my dog brothers, she lets them sniff her all over. Maybe in a day or two she will let me get closer to her.

Mom made her a page! We didn't get very good pictures because she was too busy exploring and looking out the window but you can kinda see what she looks like. Here is her page:

I have a new sister!

I have a new sister! I haven't met her yet and I sure hope I like her. Her name is Iris and she's 8 months old.

Mom and Dad said I have to be nice to her because she is little and she only has one eye. I guess she got hurt somehow and Animal Control wanted to make her sleep forever but our vet man said NO he would fix her eye and find her a forever home.

Mom and Dad said she is real cute and real nice but I'm not to sure. Except for my dog brothers I've never had to share my parents and my stuff before.

She is still at the hospital and comes home tomorrow. I will let everyone know when she gets here and Mom makes a page for her. I hope all my friends will be her friends too.

Tomorrow I will marry the love of my life.
