Regular food - Friskies; treats - pureed baby food meat (she comes fast when that jar lid snaps open!)

Arrival Story:
Yes, a wonderful story about how I became guardian of Cassie. A former co-worker (Roni) was very involved with the shelter from which I adopted Cassie when she was about a year and a half old (2/97). She told me many stories about the shelter's cats and basically insisted that I make a visit during the annual Valentine's Day open house. If it were not for her, I would never have learned about the wonderful work our shelter (Harmony House for Cats, Chicago) is doing.
Bio:
She's got an oval white spot on her right hip. Her name is short for Cashmere, because my mom was wearing her grey cashmere coat when she found out about Cassie for the first time.

Dear Diary,
It is Saturday and Meowmie and I spent the day being snuggle buddies. She likes it when I am in a snuggling mood. She combed me yesterday so I spent a long time washing up today. I don't like how I smell after she combs me! Now she is on Pet Talk keeping up with all the kitties and dogs there. I like Saturdays.
