Arrival Story:
I went to the lost cats' home with my little granddaughter Stella and we chose her together. Misty was six or seven weeks old and SOOO cute! The next day we went back with Stella's friend Molly to pick her up and bring her home. Stella was three at the time (2002) and she was very excited. I live alone but Stella comes over a lot so Misty is 'our' cat rather than just mine. The people at the cats' home told us that Misty had been found abandoned on the street.

Bio:
Stella and I also chose another kitten, a little tabby called Abigail. She and Misty were very good friends. But after a couple of years we realised that, because Abigail scratched people a lot, especially when she was scared, we had to find another home for her. That was very sad. Abigail was the boss cat, so after she left Misty was able to become princess of the house. She liked that a lot! Now she has a new kitten friend called Tabitha, so life has got very interesting again. She has decided to make friends with Tabitha, although she wasn't so sure at first! When she was younger Misty was quite chubby, so we called her Fatty Boom-Ba. After Abigail left she became Princess Fatty Boom-Ba. She's not fat any more, though -- she's quite svelte and elegant these days.

Tabitha has been here for two weeks now. She is very small (only nine weeks old). Meow! I didn't like her at first but I guess I'll have to put up with her. I've been licking her and playing with her. I think sh will be okay as long as I remain the boss.
