SLEEP DEPRIVATION IN CATS

Did you know that a cat lives three days in our one? That would mean the cat equivalent to 24 hours, is 8. Studies show that a cat begins to show sleep deprivation signs after eight hours. They spend much of their 8 hour day sleeping, almost half of it. Dante' would always seem so happy to finally see me awake. He had to knead on me, it was like an addiction to him. I finally realized that it was because to him i'd been asleep a day, sometimes day and a half.

Mamma saw a little kitty who reminded me of you today. He fetched like you did, but he wasn't as smart as you, he didn't bring the mouse back to me. I want a kitty so bad, it's been a long time now since you and Maximus went away. And it's been so long since there was something filling that gap in my life. It's really amazing what that fur does for the soul. I have my little girl now, I wish you could have stayed long enough to meet. But her companionship fills a different kind of gap. It's not the same. I keep hoping one day some cat will walk up to me and look at me with your reincarnated soul or something. I miss you so much that three years later i still cant talk about you without crying. Please come back to me soon. Mamma loves you and misses you so much.
