Cat of the Week!!!

Holy cow! I got picked as Cat of the Week--such an honor!! My meowmy got 120 new catster emails over the last week; she was blown away. I have my work cut out for me trying to respond to all of the invites and beautiful presents. I'll be back for more soon. Thanks so much everyone!!!

Happy Birthday!

hi guys--i was away from the comprooter for a while, but i'm back. plus, i had my first birthday and i have lots of cool rosettes to give away--yipee! i just learned that they expire if i don't use 'em, so i have some gifting to do. my momma said that i look like a full grown kitty now, but she is still wrapped around my paw, so i guess it doesn't really matter that i don't look like a kitten anymore. i also have a big brother now too, his name is jabari and he is a silver marble bengal. we have to make him a page soon too. anyhow, thanks for stopping by.

funny face ;)

i just found out that my "funny face" picture won the best in its category for the 2006 world's coolest dog & cat show--yippee!! i am a very happy kitty! thanks for all of the votes and the new friends; it makes me feel special even though i have a shaved belly. my "fixing" last friday went as well as could be expected (i suppose) i don't remember much about it. i kept hiding under furniture when i got home and i was shaking a bit. my my big pink momma cat felt really sorry for me and i could tell she was nervous too. i was all woozy for a while and would fall over when i tried to walk, but i slept under the covers with mom and dad all night and felt much better in the morning. by sunday i was already getting into trouble again for jumping up (yeah, i know i wasn't supposed to be jumping far--but i am a bengal!) on the kitchen counters and getting into the sink. i didn't even have to wear a cone! my mom was kinda disappointed because she thought i would be highly entertaining in a cone (i'd like to see her in one, sheesh), but i hear that the internal stiches and surgical glue are better anyhow. my little shaved tummy shows off my fuzzy belly spots, which are pretty cute. and now i won best funny face--so all is right in my world again.

getting fixed?!

momma cat told me that i am "getting fixed" today, but i didn't know that i was broken. i'm not sure what she means by that. then she said that i will be very amusing in my "cone". i am very suspicious.

also, i was excited to see that i am one of the finalists in catster's 2006 world's coolest dog and cat show!! it is very exciting to be among so many wonderful kitties. i am honored to be in the group of finalists and hope you will vote for me! purrrrrrrsss and kisses,

mum's first cat show

my mom and dad went to a cat show today--neither one had ever been before. they looked around and bought me a bunch of toys, but when they came home they still told me that i'm the prettiest kitty ever. i was impressed--they must be blinded by love. mom did say that she really likes the dark chocolate burmese cats. of course, i've never seen her turn down dark chocolate anyhow. well, it is time for me to sleep now--so that i can get up at 5 in the morning and start making a mess of things. (and they said that i don't understand the concept of "weekend" or "sunday"--i'll sleep, just not when they want me to.)

yay--friends!!

wow!! i made so many new friends so quickly--that was awesome. my momma was trying to make me some friends, but was looking in the wrong place for the invites (she thought they would come in the catster mail, silly). tonight she logged into her regular mail and went gonzo (sometimes she calls me that too) because of all of the responses. now i don't feel lonely, just a bit noobie.
now, if she would just give me some of her chicken pot-pie.....

introductions all around

i just joined catster today, which officially makes my mommy a crazy-cat lady. she already had a blog (http://supermarketclash.blogspot.com), which was going to be about other stuff, but i stole the show. i am anxious to make new friends and meet up with some people who were waiting for me to join catster. i hope they remember me! alright it is time to terrorize the feather wand and then take a nap on the window sill. maybe if i'm cute mommy will give me some more chicken ;)
