Arrival Story: My husband and I were visiting the pet store, as we often do, and we saw the largest cat we had ever seen in one of the cages. I insited to my husband that I had to hold him. As soon as I took this giant fluff into my arms, he looked up at me with the saddest yellow kitten eyes he could muster and started purring like and old motorboat. The care person who was cleaning the cages informed us that Pepper had been homeless now for over two months because his elderly owner became ill and could not care for him, but no one really wanted to adopt him because of his age. That night he came home with us.
Bio: Pepper is the most loving, affectioante cat I have ever seen. It only takes him moments to climb on the lap of any stranger and purr his littel heart out... that is, of course, if he is awake. The only person he does not like is my human brother Joey. Everytime Joey comes near him, Pepper hisses. When Pepper isn't sleeping, he like to look out any available window, play tackle with Winter, and get fresh drinks out of the faucet.

Mom measured us!: I am 38" from my nose to the tip of my tail, my tail is 14", I stand 16" from head to paw, my tummy is 23" around, and I weigh 21 lbs.
In my past life I was a:: Sloth. I'll get there... eventually. I may need to take a nap on the way.
Happy Birthday Sweetheart! Mommy and Daddy love you so very much and we are glad we didn't listen to others when they told us it was a bad idea to adopt you at 9yrs old. You are the sweetest, most loveable kitty in the world. 11 yrs young is nothing to bat eyelashes at, but I know that you are still a kitten at heart. Momm and Daddy thank God everyday for your continued good health and energy! We love you, Pepper and we know tis will be your best year yet!
Mom caught me playing today. All by myself, I was throwing mice around and jumping all around the dining room. Then I was rolling in a good pile of catnip and racing around the room. And then wouldn't ya know it... Mom walked around the corner and spotted me! Ugh! There goes my dignity. I tried to hide my secret playtime by immediately jumping onto the cat tree and settleing down to look out the window, but I'm pretty sure Mom got a show out of me. My only hope it that she doesn't further my emabarrassment by telling all the other cats...
Literally. Mom says becuase my tail is so thick and long, no matter what I hit with it, the stuff goes flying. The other day I knocked all the bills off Mom's desk with one swish. I can knock jewelry off tables and empty glasses to the floor. Kncik knacks, papers, silverware, photo frames... nothing is safe when my tail is around. :)
