Arrival Story:
I was down to one cat and feeling the emptyness in the house. I also felt that Cili needed a kitty sibling as he always had one. I contacted a rescue organization and told them to contact me if a long haired cat ever showed up...and one did. Rusty was rescued at the end the winter, he was skinny and his hair was matted, he had all the signs of an abandoned kitty. It was love at first sight, and he purred the first time I held him. He adapted quite nicely into the family.

Bio:
Rusty is such a sweet furrball! He loves his kitty and doggie siblings. I have never heard him hiss or growl, never. He is very close to his kitty brother Cili, they often relax together. He also likes Marci and they wrestle together quite adorably. He loves being outside and is not bothered being on his leash and harness, however he does tend to wrap himself around objects continuously while outside. The most absolutely adorable thing about Rusty is his cuteness, he does this thing I have never seen any other cat do. He loves shadows and enjoys chasing them across the kitchen. He slides from one end to the other trying to catch them. I noticed him doing this the very first time the dog was wagging his tail and he was sitting behind him, and now he does it all the time.
