Next to Mom, wherever that may be. Sometimes next to another warm body if Mom is unavailable, such as Austin or Bentley.

Rory likes everything he can get his paws into, especially chicken & salmon from Friskies. He sometimes likes to beg for turkey from sandwiches from D'Angelos.

Rory is a master escape artist, and can get into or out of rooms without opening doors (seriously).

Arrival Story:
Rory was the littermate brother of Bentley, and after having a tough time getting adopted and staying put in a home, Bentley and I decided to take him in. I kept in contact with the agency and couldn't bear for him to go anywhere else. Drove an hour (almost) again to get him.
Bio:
Rory is a special little guy who loves to be picked up, held, cuddled and napped with. He likes to run around with his brother, but his favorite thing to do is hang out with Mom. Royce developed allergies and asthma this summer (2007) and is being very brave about going to the vet...mostly :)

where oh where can they be? mom says a lot of our toys are missing, and after we followed her around the house, looking under the chairs and the couch and the bed and the fridge, none of them have turned up yet. i finally solved the mystery, though. bentley has a hiding spot inside of mommy's bed, and that is the only stone left unturned. i betcha if mommy flipped her boxpsring upside down, tons of little mouseys would fall out!! and maybe the other missing toys are there, too. if that's not where they went, then bentley has been practicing some halloween hocus-pocus and made them all disappear!!

...today was a good day. mommy came home this morning with new balls to replace the ones we hid. we played a game of looking for the old ones the other day, and mommy couldn't find them, but we didn't want to give away the secret. Shhh...don't tell! They're inside the boxspring of mom's bed!
we played with the new balls and napped and snacked all day. when mommy came home after work, she brought more toys! there were three new mice made of felt with animal prints! bentley loves mice so he was more excited than me, but i like variety, and that's 2 new things today!
mommy made steak for dinner, and i could smell it cooking. i tried and tried to behave, but finally i gave in a jumped up on the table, but i got pushed back and had to make do with just the smell. mommy gave us treats after dinner for not licking the steak, though.
we stretched out after dinner and mom and her boyfriend pet us for awhile before they went out to see their friends. mommy will pet us again when she gets home, so all in all...it was my kinda day today!

i think this is my new nickname. mommy called me this just the other day (again!) when i climbed up on the purse shelf thingy. there's this biiigggg shelf where mommy puts her purse when she comes home. under it is a noisemaking machine but it hardly ever goes on, because when it does, we hide under the bed and mommy feels bad. anyhow...while mommy was out, there was no purse on the shelf, so i jumped up. and you know what WAS there???? dead flowers, all dried up but still pretty. i remembered them from before. i tried to tear them up and play with them, but mommy took them away and i forgot all about them til...wham, there they were! so, i decided to go for it. i wanted to make them special for mommy, so i ripped all the little petals off and scattered them on the floor, just like in romantic movies. when mom came home from work, though, she didn't think the petals were pretty. she shook her head and used the scary dustbuster to suck them all up. oh well, i tried.
