Quick Bio:

August 17th 1996

Eating and...ahem...getting romantic with pillows, blankets, stuffed dog toys, the list goes on and on!

Being kept indoors after living the life of a stray. Not being fed promptly! (The nerve!!)

Favorite Toy:
A feather on a string, of course!

Favorite Nap Spot:
In my box top on top of the nice, warm oil burner (don't worry, the burner has a cover!)

Favorite Food:
Boars Head Turkey (a special treat!)

Right now it would be meowing at the top of my lungs when I want something. But, when I was younger - my best talent was the high jump! I could jump 6 feet in the air to catch my favorite feather on a string!

Arrival Story:
When Mom and Dad moved into their new home (which belongs to me now, of course) they wanted to adopt a cat. They both grew up with animals, and a house without them was so empty. Lo and behold, my grandfather (who is Not a big fan of cats - don't ask me why) called Mom one day RAVING about a stray cat (yours truly) that had taken to sleeping on a chair on his front porch. He told Mom that they HAD to meet me. Well, very wisely, Mom and Dad came to check me out. I was sooo very sweet and loving to them. (Not to mention incredibly handsome!) How could they refuse!? After a few visits and no responses to the "Found Cat" flyers they put up around the neighborhood I went to my new home and have been there ever since. Purrrrrr.

Let's see, let's see...well, as you can see from my pictures, I am quite handsome, and I know it. I have received more compliments than I can count on what a beautiful, panther-like cat I am. Puuuurrrr. (I just love being admired.) Even at 10 years of age, I am pretty playful - although I wish Mom and Dad would play with me more. String toys don't move on their own, you know! I LOVE to eat (who doesn't) and get very loud when Mom doesn't feed me fast enough. I really miss being outside and look out the window a lot. Once or twice I snuck out, but boy, did that make Mom mad!! I don't try that anymore. A few times lately Dad has brought me outside in the backyard. It was awesome! Although I had to wear this stupid thing around me so I wouldn't run away. I hope I can go outside again soon. I used to have a brother Figaro who I loved very much, but he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Now I have a dog brother And a cat sister to play with. They're both nice, but I'm not as close to them as I was to Figgy, maybe in time. I'm a pretty loving guy. I have to admit I'm a Daddy's boy though. I love to snuggle with him in bed. We can relate to each other well. Dad's the man! I'll snuggle with Mom too, but that's usually to wake her up to feed me, ha ha! I've been feeling a little down in the dumps lately as Bella has been receiving one anonymous rosette after another while I got...*sigh*...nothing.

But, OMC, all that has CHANGED!!

Look at ALL the anonymous rosettes I've received in just the last few days!! =O I can't believe my eyes! Am I dreaming? Would somecat pinch me?!

"Owwwww!!!! BELLA!!!!!"

*Bella runs away giggling*

(Okay, I admit it, I walked into that one.)

*Tux opens each rosette with a huge smile on his face*

Anonymous Rosette #1: STWC

My first rosette is white with a message from STWC that says:
"You have been deemed worthy of a visit from me
A great cat you must be!

Oh wow! Thank you so much STWC! I am honored! (You obviously have excellent taste!) ;)

Anonymous Rosette #2: Blue Seal Bandits

I then received a super cool rosette with a smiley face that says "You make me smile!" The message reads:
"To a great cool cat!
Blue Seal Bandits"

How totally Pawsome!!! Thank You, Blue Seal Bandits!!! *high paw*

Anonymous Rosette #3: One super cool kitty

After that I got a furtastic butterfly rosette with a orange kitty that meows:
"Don't tell Bella- She might get jealous *tee hee*"

MOL!!! Thanks, Gordy! Ergh! I mean, um...Anonymous Rosette Giver, whoever you are! MOL!!! ;)

Anonymous Rosette #4: The Pink Panther

And THEN I received a pink rosette from the mysterious Pink Panther that says:
"I'm back dear Tuxy,
And I really must say,
Hope have a nice day!
~The Pink Panther ~"

Thank you to the lovely Pink Panther! I hope you have a nice day too! Purrrrrrrrrrr!

So much excitement! So much love! *sniff* Ummm...no cat saw that, okay!?

*dabs eyes with tail* Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Rocky Ann had two kick tail parties yesterday, complete with Hello Kitty hats worn by all her friends, and Today River and Ashlye are having Their parties!

Please stop in and wish them both a very Happy Birthday!

ASHLYE’S Birthday Party

RIVER’s 1st Birthday Party

And, to top it all off, today is EASTER too!

You know what? This is the very first year I have Ever received Easter gifts!! (And I'm not a kitten anymore!)

I would like to meow a very special thank you to:

Boogers, Hondo and Fido! We loved their gifts SO much, we ate them BEFORE Mom opened the package for us! (We freaked Mom out real good! MOL!!) The guys sent Bella and I a sparkle ball and absolutely Delicious shrimp And cod!! Thank you!

Cocoa and Co. sent us a TON of gifts! We got a crinkle ball, a yellow sparkle ball, a ball with a red feather and matching mouse, a pink mouse (that Bella claimed), a cat, and a ball that rattles! Totally pawsome!! Thank you all so very much! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Back in My Stroller Again

I got to go outside in my stroller yesterday!!!! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

But, only in the backyard. Hissssssssssssss!!!

(There were a lot of kids playing outside by the front of the house and Mom claims that she didn't want me to get nervous with all the commotion. Purrsonally, I think she was too embarrassed to take me for a stroll in PUBLIC!)

So, anyway, here's a re-cap of my First Stroll of 2007! (And, I think, only my third stroll Ever. I'm still a newbie!)

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and it was a "balmy" 64 degrees! A purrfect day for a stroll.

Mom took my stroller out, (hoping that I would excitedly hop in on my own, as I've done in the past).

I sniffed it, rubbed it with my head (marking it as mine, of course), and then jumped right in! Mom zipped it closed and we were off...to the "awe inspiring" backyard. *sigh* (Well, it was better than nothing.)

Oh, yeah, the stinky dog came outside with us too. *rolls eyes*

I toured the backyard for a while and then I "parked" and got to take in the sights and scents, while Mom threw the ball for the stinky dog. ("Um, Hel-LO! This is about ME! Not Domino!" *stamps paw*).

I looked around, sniffed the air, and meowed a bunch too. (The whole "stroller meowing" thing used to freak Mom out because she thought I might be nervous, but now she realizes that I'm just excited and talkative. Duh, Mom! My "stroller meow" sounds Nothing like my "I'm in cat jail going to the v e t, you had better get me out THIS INSTANT meow".)

I was hoping to get some more strolling in this weekend when I learned that Old Man Winter isn't done with us yet. :( Yup, the 60 degree weather is going to revert back to freezing temperatures, complete with sleet and snow. Joy. *sigh* (See, I knew that groundhog didn't know what he was talking about! He's a Groundhog, for catnip's sake!!)

But, hopefully spring will be back again soon, and then I can venture beyond my property and explore the world!

In the meantime, I am trying to figure out how to mail myself to Boogers' house where it's nice and warm (and Bella free)! :)
