Likes:
lately she's understandably obsessed with shredding wrapping paper, hiding in boxes, attacking tissue paper and stealing pens

Pet-Peeves:
Being locked out of the bedroom and BEING HELD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

Favorite Toy:
anything she can 1) knock off a table - pens, lip balm, mail, important legal documents 2) bring in through the cat door - acorns, sticks, freakishly huge flying bugs, a bird, a mole and a rock. A rock? Yes, a rock.

Favorite Food:
chicken, pasta, soft kitten food that Dom's not allowed to eat

Skills:
she can catch bugs half her size, she can outrun a Jack Russell Terrier and she can hear the attic door open from 4 blocks away and be up there before you get the light on

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
I went to the local animal shelter and picked her out of the many kittens up for adoption. She was in cage #1 with her sister and was the loudest, most active one in the room. She came home at wks old, took one look at the dogs and ran up to them like she hadn't seen them in years. The first month she lived here her head was always wet from being completely inside Petey's mouth all. day. long. She learned to use the cat door and completely kicked the litter box habit in under a week. She's grown a lot but seems like she's destined to stay on the small side. But then again, next to Dominik, most living things are "on the small side".

Bio:
Junebug lives in a house on stilts with my husband and I and our other animals: *Dominik* - a persistent 26lb orange tabby with mob connections and an appreciation for good lasagna; *Louie* - an unbelievably sweet (but kinda dumb) spaniel/collie/yeti mix with big hips; *Petey*- a very busy, loud, know-it-all Jack Russell mix and *Filbert* - a 6 year old widower Chinese Firebellied Toad with a mad crush on Junebug. She has a cat door and all the freedom that comes with it and a bunch of friends to nap and play with. She loves to walk down the driveway with us to get the mail and gets in the car and has the dirtiest feet ever. she always greets us at the door when we come home. She comes when she's called and spoons with the dog and drinks out of the toilet and naps on clean laundry and plays in paper bags and breaks things and leaves dead mice under the dryer. She's perfect.
