Arrival Story:
Before my husband and I were married, we wanted to get another cat to add to our "cat-friendly" apartment while I was going to college. I wanted a brown/black/gray tabby. We went to the humane society, and I didn't see the cat that I had been dreaming of. I had almost given up on the perfect cat, when my husband called me over to look at the back of a particular cage. That is when I saw Ollie. He was the perfect, and I knew that he was meant to be with us. He was my first cat. Ollie is the Hooper of cats.

Bio:
Ollie is somewhat aloof (he is alpha). He gets what he wants, when he wants it. However, when he is lovey, he is absolutely determined to get the love that he wants. He looooves soft pets. He is so sweet! If Ollie doesn't want to be handled, he just walks away. If he doesn't want to be pet anymore, he just walks away. Ollie NEVER scratches, except on accident, or if you are playing with him in an obvious manner. He is one of the most even tempered cats I have ever seen. As a friend once said, shelter/rescue animals have a certain appreciation for a good home. They don't hesitate to show it. Ollie is a lover, and he knows that he has it good... at least when he is interested.
