Today is Valentine's Day, and I got lots of extra treats. But I'm angry over one treat I didn't get.

Dad took mom out to a fancy restaurant fur dinner, but he didn't take me! Why couldn't I go too? *flips tail disconsolately* What do restaurants have against kitties? I would behave perfectly well! I would just sit on mom and dad's table and not run around and bother the other diners. And I would try very hard not to knock anything off the table with my tail!

I gave them a big angry meow when they left, and a few more when they came home. I don't think it's at all fair. . . .

athena, they don't take us to fancy restaurants because they know that we'd get better menus!!! they're simply jealous and exclude us in order to not have competition at the dining table. don't you think?

however - they should at least have brought a kitty bag with half a lobster or something... i think we need to talk about re-freshing the training. i'd need new methods as well!

I think refreshing the training is a very good idea, Ishtar, and I will be attending to it today! This is where they went: www.lepetitcafe.net . Next time they go, I definitely want to be included! Never mind dad's "You know you hate to leave the house"!

tell your daddy that "hate to not leave the house" does not mean you wouldn't like to be in that (other) house! how couldn't he know? even from here i can smell their kitchen... that's breathtaking. a menu full of kitty pleasure!!!

You bet, Ishtar! While I wouldn't be interested in dad's French fries, I could certainly have helped him out with that steak au poivre! Not to mention helping mom with her wild halibut! *flicks tail dolefully* And I can practically smell the tuna tartare appetizer, covered with sesame seeds, from here. . . .
