indoors Arrival Story: A local animal rescue called me looking for some help. Five kittens were dropped off to be put to sleep because their mother could not take care of them. I never did ask what happened to her....I didn't want to know! They were only 3 weeks old and were very tiny. This was my first time taking care of orphand kittens and I was a little paranoid. I weighed them daily and charted each tiny furballs progress. My two girls and I would take turns going in their room to let them play or sleep on us, whatever they wanted to do. Three of the five found great homes (Bat Woman, Clayton and Lucky) very quickly. Once we were down to two it was so hard to let go. One was the runt and the other had such pretty coloring. We just had to keep them BOTH! Bio: Sox, or Soxy, was the favorite of my daughter Jessica. When I took the kittens to visit a potential adopter I was happy she fell in love with another kitten. I was afraid of how Jess would take it if Sox was not there when she came home from school. Soxy has real cool colors and one paw that is pink. She really likes the bathroom and has learned how to turn on the faucet. Both her and her sister can not resist newspaper and phone books. We will never have to buy a paper shredder again!
