Arrival Story:
I had always wanted a cat... finally, I got a chance to get one. After going out to a farm, the farmer took the cat out of the chicken coop. She was perfect! (her sister tried to attack us, though) However, my family and I were under the impression that she was really a he! Because of the spot on her back in the midst of stripes, we called her Chester Cheetah. The next day, my mother became suspicious. She thought that Chester Cheetah was a she. So, in a hamper basket, I took her to the neighbor's house. (he's a vet) He confirmed that Chester Cheetah was really a girl. In light of the circumstances, we decided 'Cheetah' fit a little better.

Bio:
The first day at my home for Cheetah was rather stressful. She was just a kitten, and was still a little nervous. My friends came over to pick me up for a party, and they all wanted to see the new kitten. So, off they went. After considerable torture, we all left. A few days later my cousins came over and tortured her more. Now, whenever the doorbell rings, she's running downstairs to cower under the bed.

Cheetah's Woes

Sleeping in the Drawer

My sister left the drawer on her dresser open the other day and just walked off. I'm not sure why. Anyway, I went into her room later to retrieve one of my necklaces, and I found Cheetah curled up in her drawer, asleep. This is strange behavior for our cat. Thankfully, I managed to get some photos of her catnap before she jumped out. Enjoy!! (It's so amazingly cuuuuuuute!)

Wow, I'm feeling really special. I've only been on Catster one day, and look! Thirty-seven friends, and I'm in a group! Purrfect! I've dominated the net like I've dominated my house. *lies back and sighs* Everything's going well!

You know what I played with today? A skittle my owner dropped. It was fun, but it didn't taste good. And once I licked it, it got all sticky and wouldn't roll. That wasn't good. Nothing else interesting is going to happen today, I think.

Today, I woke up from sleeping and went to bug my owner. She wasn't all the way awake, but I persisted! Eventually, she gave up and lavished the attention I deserve upon me. I got new food, fresh water, and a clean litter box today as well. Yippee! Then, I was chased by the vacuum cleaner, and escaped to the upstairs.
