Purrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Mommy has finally added music to my page! She picked only female artists and I approve of her choices so I guess eventually I will forgive her for not doing it before now!
Sweet Love by the tiny woman with the powerful voice of Anita Baker is of course dedicated to my love, my life, my husband, King Rascal.
Get Here is of course for my sweet love. It's written by the supremely talented Brenda Russell and performed by the beautiful voice of Oleta Adams.
Can you guess who Without You, sung by the talented Mariah Carey is for? Hmmmm, give up? I'll give you a hint!
King Rascal.
Hero, again, by Mariah Carey.....well....this one is for two beloved kitties. First and foremost, of course, My Darling Rascal and second is my bestest friend and Catster sister Lovely Diamond.
La Charreada, sung by the Angel Faced, Angel Voiced Linda Ronstadt is for two hoomans! The first is my Mommy who is half mexican and she adores this song, (it does have a festive feel to it), and for my Mother Inlaw, Pretty Rose, who is not mexican of blood, but mexican of heart! I love you Mama Rose.......oh and you too Mommy!
Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me by Linda Ronstadt is Mommy's addition for ME!!
So Far Away by Carole King.....*wipes a tear from her cheek* This one is for the miles between me and my love.
Piano in The Dark, written & performed by the awesome Brenda Russell is a favorite of mine & Mommy. It's filled with passion and beautiful music!
You Belong to Me by Carly Simon is a no-brainer! Rascal, pay close attention to these words....they are for YOU!!!
Nick of Time by Bonnie Raitt (a mega talent) is also for my Darling Rascal but also for my Darling Daddy (I ADORE him), who saved my life!
All of these songs are brought to you by a fine example of womanhood!
Girls Rule!!

Oh My Stars!
Who knew that today would be any different than any other day? Not me, that's for sure!
One of my favorite napping spots is in the back of my Darling Daddy's pickup that is parked in our carport.
Almost every morning when my Daddy gets ready to leave for work he looks for me in the bed of his pickup. Then he does one of two things: He honks his horn at Mom, she comes outside, picks me up from my nap spot and carries me into the house. Or, Daddy picks me up and carries me into the house. Being his special girl, he always demands that Mom feed me at once!
This morning he honked his horn, Mom came outside, looked into the back of his pickup and didn't see me, so she gave him the all clear signal and off he drove.
Eeeegads! The last time I looked, this nap-spot on wheels was parked safely at my house. However, it is now moving.....farther & farther away from my house. I sit up and scream at my Daddy to let him know, "hey Daddy I'm here, please stop", but for some reason he doesn't. On & on this mobile bed travels, will it ever stop? I'm beginning to be very ascared. Fifteen windy miles later, Daddy arrives at work, parks the pickup and promptly disappears before I can let him know that he has an unscheduled passenger. I have no idea where I am or where my Daddy is. Just to be on the safe side I decide to stay hidden in the small area between the side of Daddy's toolbox and the side of his pickup bed. As I was scrunched into my nook, trying to plan my next move, a strange kitty that I've never seen jumps up on the side of the pickup. Who is she? What does she want? Am I going to have to kick her furry butt? I wait......ready to defend my Daddy's pickup if I have to. I sigh in relief when she jumps down and leaves me to the task of solving this travel dilemma . Just as I am beginning to think that my Daddy is lost too, he returns. Now he will reach in and pick me up. Soon I'll be enjoying chin scratches and profuse apologies for having been catnapped. I purr with anticipation, my eyes closed, picturing the attention my Daddy will lavish on me. Unfortunately my eyes pop open when I feel my nap-spot once again moving. I can see Daddy, but he can't see me. Here we go again. Fifteen windy miles later we arrive, much to my relieved delight, back home again. When Daddy gets out of the pickup I waste no time, screaming at him, "how dare you! do you know how stressful this unscheduled traveling trip has been on me?" At last, he picks me up into his arms and begins telling me he's sorry. Mommy, also, was properly contrite for her part in my misadventure. She tells Daddy that I must have had an angel watching over me and then she shudders, thinking of all the scarey pawsibilities. Because I am a Princess, these indignities and frightening experiences can only be erased from my mind with a prompt mooch reward! Daddy & I have trained Mommy well! Soon I was munching on meat & cheese mooch food, to be followed by a nap, not in Daddy's pickup, but in the house. Hmmm, I wonder, does the house have wheels too? As I cannot recall seeing any, I lay my head down for a much deserved nap!

Now that you know the names of every kitty who attended my wedding, and can even click on their names to see who they are, I'll finish telling you about the wedding!
As I peeked out of the room where I was waiting to make my grand entrance, I watched as the ushers made sure that everyone had a place to sit. There was quite a buzz of purrs and chatting from all of my wonderful friends dressed in their best fur in honor of this most momentous occasion. I watched as the girls each took their turn walking down the isle. They were so pretty in their gowns, each girl accompanied by a handsome tuxedo adorned tom.
There were roses everywhere you looked and their sent filled the air with romance. Candlelight set the room aglow with a soft, romantic luminosity.
Although I couldn't see him from my hidden spot behind the door, I knew that at the end of the isle that I'd just watched the wedding party walk down, stood my Darling Rascal, with his best man Mickey standing at his side. Just the thought of him in his regal finery sent twitters of anticipation through my fur.
Finally it was time! I stepped through the doorway of my hiding sopt and stopped at the back of the room, taking a moment to admire all that I could see. When the wedding march music began I stepped forward into the room. All eyes turned in my direction as I desending down the red velvet carpet toward my handsome tom. Gasps, oohs and ahhs, as well as murmured words of praise surrounded me like a warm blanket as I took my place beside the most handsome tom in Catsterdom. I glanced at the girls, giving them a smile, then smiling at the toms I placed my paws into the strong paws of my beloved Rascal.
Before us stood the distinguished Merlin, the cat Wizard who smiled gently at me before beginning the ceremony.
First Merlin spoke to the congregation, telling them of the sanctity of marriage, a prayer to Bast followed. Rascal and I repeated our vows to each other as we gazed lovingly into each other's eyes. We promised to love and respect one another for all of our days. My heart was pounding with all of the love I have for this handsome King that I am now joined together with in a partnership of life. The kiss had my head spinning and my heart singing!! And to be quite honest, I didn't want the kissing to end!! Then we turned to face our friends as an officially wedded couple for the first time!! There were smiles everywhere and soon everyone began offering us congratulations.
From this point on, there was nothing but fun!
Jeter Harris, Mickey's little brother apparently imbibed too much Catnip Champagne and had to be taken home early.....I hope he had fun and didn't suffer too much the next day with a nip hangover! There were several toms assisting Mickey as he helped Jeter to the limousine, Marky offered a doggy bag just incase!! Dashy opted to graze on the roses instead of the beautiful banquet tables bowing with an array of goodies. I think he talked Po into trying them and even Merlin took a nibble too! I had to giggle when I overheard Marky ask Haley Ann if she could introduce him to Donny & Marie and get their pawtograph! Little Zoey was worried that she was underdressed, but she looked darling. Toffy snuck some Champange to Merlin's creatures!! This was a party afterall, and everyone should enjoy themselves. Milagrito flew in from the westcoast, and I was so pleased to meet the mancat who had been willing to come to my rescue when we thought there was no one to perform the wedding. There was of course dancing, I danced with Milagrito, Rascal danced with Cinderella and Marilyn MonREOW. A Conga began, it's always a favorite at any party. Jones came out of the kitchen to join in. Chef Spot and Donny decided that they should cook together some day soon.
And there was romance everwhere, Marky and Haley Ann asked Merlin if he would be willing to perform their wedding when the time comes. My Catster sister Diamond received a proposal of marriage from her most handsome tom Cinni. I'm just so thrilled that this magical moment happened at my wedding and I'm so very happy for her. Mickey Mantle and his girl, Marilyn MonREOW were gazing lovingly at each other all afternoon! And another official couple was born that day too.......Fafnir and Friggy two darling Viking Kitties agreed to go steady!!
The food was abundant and out of this world yummy!!! It pays to have professional caterers as friends....and my friends Spot & Jones are the BEST!!
On the menu was tuna tartar, twiced baked mice, steak, lobster tails, chicken bites, fresh salmon, poached salmon, roast turkey, mice on a stick and fresh baked breads just to mention a few things!!! The Divine Miss Coffee brought cream puffs and expresso/barristas. Icy made the wedding cake and sang a beautiful song for us. I think everyone had a lovely time. It was the best day of my life!!!

Dear Diary,
It’s been a long while since I’ve written but now I have something big to tell!
June 24th, 2007 was a very momentous occasion in my life. It was the day that I went from being just Princess Pooter to Princess Pooter……wife of King Rascal. Yes, we were joined in holy matrimony on this glorious day!!
For those of you who have never planned a wedding, let me just say that it is not an endeavor for the faint of heart!
Lots of jittery nerves and doubtful moments, tons of pmails and emails went into the planning of this special day.
There were pitfalls and snags galore! So much so, that my Mommy feared that it would never come together and be the glorious event that she envisioned for me. And believe me when I say, I was a tad doubtful myself!
The wedding party had to be decided on, Mommy & I were in charge of picking and gathering…sending out the invites for the bridesmaids and Rascal and his Mommy for the ushers. This might sound like a simple thing!! Nothing involving my Mommy & the computer is ever simple!!
Just when we thought we had the list completed, we realized that we’d forgotten a very important usher who had accepted the invitation to be an usher early on. The frantic search for another bridesmaid began. Mommy asked a special girl, Icebox to join the bridesmaids. In the meantime, the usher that we’d so shamelessly forgotten pmailed Rascal saying that an event for his Mommy would not allow him to be a part of our wedding after all. Eeeeeeek!!! Now, Icebox is a very busy girl and is involved in many projects, most of which are designed to help other kitties in a variety of ways, she’s a great girl!! So it was decided that Icy (as she is known to her friends) would have a very special part in the wedding, not as a bridesmaid, but to sing a song that she chose especially for us!
Finally we had a list complied of the wedding party. This list is as follows:
Diamond-Maid of Honor, cause she is my Catster sister and I’d never dream of having anyone but her! Mickey Mantle-Best Man, Mickey is the administrator for PWKC and a purrsonal friend to Rascal & me.
The bridesmaids were, Coffee, Haley Ann, Cinderella, Marie, BeDeBe, Lady Ashley, Lillian, Twixy, and Tweak(in spirit since her Mommy had prior commitments for the day of the wedding).
The ushers were, Dashy, Scooter, Marky, Swee’ Pea, Tooney, Cinni, Tangee, and Charlie.
Next came the shopping for gowns, a maid of honor gown, a gown for the bridesmaids and the all important… Wedding Gown!! We chose a beautiful Vera Wang gown for me. Then came the shopping for Tuxedos for the boys. I must say that the tuxedo shopping was a lot easier and less time consuming than the shopping of the gowns!
Now we had to procure a wedding photographer since Mommy has no talents in this area. We asked a very well known photographer by the name of Twix or Twixy as she is more fondly called and much to our delight, she agreed to do the photos for us. Let me tell you, she is a dream come true for anyone who is in need of photos! She set to work on the photos and sent my Mommy updates and samples regularly. She was so kind and always patient with Mommy, who often is lost in the world of the computer!!
Despite the drama of mix-ups and such, it was finally all coming together.
However, as we were drawing closer to the day of the wedding, we had not heard from Merlin, The Wizard, who was to officiate the ceremony. Through a miscommunication between my Mommy & Rascal’s, Mommy took off in a panic to try to find a replacement for our chosen Merlin. A very dear friend of mine, Tweak, gave us the name of the Judge who officiated her wedding, a very wise kitty named Milagrito. Mommy pmailed him begging him to please help us out, thinking only of the fact that all this planning would be for naught if there was no one to actually perform the ceremony and make it official. He replied and very graciously agreed to help us out, much to our grateful relief. But in the meantime, Rascal heard from Merlin and now we had not only one, but two kitties to perform the ceremony!! Thankfully, the two (Merlin & Milagrito) worked it out between them and decided that Merlin would do the officiating and Milagrito would be a beloved guest.
Oh My Stars!! Just when I was at the point of firing Mommy and searching out a REAL wedding planner, it seemed to all work out in the end.
Thus began the countdown to the Wedding Day!

Dear Diary,
My Mommy has been so busy this week. I might as well have been an orphan. Several times I have had to wait for my chicken. No I am not kidding. Believe me, chicken and having it served in a timely manner is not a joking matter. I'm sure anyone who is a true Chicken Junkie would understand purfectly how serious this issue is. I even heard my little sister, Meme, who is Mommy's special baby, say that her Nana has been neglecting her. I should clarify in case there is any misconception that Meme being neglected should not even be given a thought, unless maybe as an afterthought. after I have been tended to. As for her having time for my Catster social life, ie.: my Darling King Rascal, my love, my heart, and my Sister Princess Diamond, my confidant, my friend, my joy, not to mention the groups that I belong to, PWKC and VLR. And although many may believe being a Princess is all about the whirl of endless social activities, parties, balls, and so on, a Princess also has duties that must be performed daily, business matters to be seen to. Do you think my Mommy has given a single thought to my friends, my business, my life? The answer is going to surprise you because the answer is NO.
I know, I know. I don't know how she's been sleeping at night. The reason for all of this blatant neglect is a human. My Mommy's human daughter to be exact. My human sister, Alexis is having another human baby this month and thus Mommy volunteered to be the one to give her what's called a baby shower. It's some sort of party, where humans come to your house and bring gifts for the unborn baby. That's all good and well for the unborn baby, but I Princess Pooter have had to suffer gross neglect for a week in order for Mommy to get ready for this party. How she could ever think any human was worth my pain and suffering, I'll never understand. The party is later today and things better get back to normal after today or I'm telling my Daddy.

Dear Diary,
With sore paws and sleepy eyes I opened my Catster mail to find a special rosette and a message from King Rascal. I have not mentioned King Rascal before today but that in no way diminishes the importance of this wonderful kitty in my life. You see, King Rascal is my..........BOYFRIEND!
Because of him, the day after being COTD was as glorious as the day itself. He recently became a Caster Plus member and as a result I was able to instant message with him. We had so much fun. He makes me laugh and he makes me purr. He posted an announcement in our group VLR that stated that he was declaring August 28th Princess Pooter Day. He can do that as he is King Rascal. During our conversation I shared my near death experience with him and told him of my Daddy's defence of me. And just when I thought how much he'd done for me and my day after special day, he did something that out shone everything else. He declared that my Darling Daddy should be Knighted. He can do that because he is King Rascal. He even put a new picture on his page of himself ready to Knight my Daddy. So now my Daddy is the first human to be Knighted on Catster. Is that Rascal not the most Darling Kitty that ever was? Oh yes he is and he is my Rascal.
Another great day on Catster. How did I not die of boredom before Catster, Sister Diamond and King Rascal and all the other wonderful kitties I've met since Mommy found this wondreful site.

Dear Diary,
Monday morning found me at the computer checking my pmail and looking around Catster. After wandering around for thirty minutes or so, I opened a message from my Sister Diamond. I almost fell out of my chair.
I have been chosen as Catster's Cat of the Day. My picture is on the home page of Catster and they have chosen me to honor. Whoooopeeeee!!!!!
I'm so excited, I can hardly sit still. From that moment on Mommy and I never left the computer. There was messages of congratulations popping up everywhere. Friend invitations from kitties I've never seen before and some I had. My Sister Diamond, her Mommy & Daddy sent me three e-cards accompanied by songs picked by Sister Di's Mommy. Mickey, the Administrator of the PWKC set up a special forum for kitties to send their messages of congratulations. Imagine, a forum just for me!!! I must have sent Sister Di a million messages, as I would never dream of enjoying this special day without her. Rosettes, I forgot to mention rosettes, there were so many.
The day was the most wonderful day I've had since my Sister Di was chosen for Diary of the Day. Everyone was so awesome and helped to make my special day even more special. But the most special kitty of all was, not me, although I am pretty special, no, it was my Sister Diamond and her Mommy who worked almost as hard as I did to make sure that Monday was all it could be and more. Thank you to every kitty.

Dear Diary,
On Sunday night around nine p.m. death barreled down the street in front of my house. It was traveling at a speed normally reserved for freeways. I felt it's breath, hot and hungry travel from the tips of my pink skinned ears to the tip of my white tail as it sped only inches from where I stood in the street.
The next thing I remember is hearing my Darling Daddy's voice. I don't recall what he said, but his voice held a note of fear.
He scooped me up into his arms and took me into the house, telling my Mommy of my near death experience. Death, as it turns out, was a neighbor driving recklessly past our house. I suspect a lobotomy has been performed on this neighbor, as only a moron would risk the wrath of my Darling Daddy.
As my Daddy & Mommy discussed my harrowing close call, Daddy spotted said moron pulling into his driveway up the street. Out the door flew Daddy.
He raced up the street on foot to catch the moron before he could enter his house. Daddy hollered out to him, but the moron rushed inside, closing the door behind him. Daddy was mad already and this rude behavior only further fueled his anger. Up the steps and onto the porch, he banged on the door once, twice, no answer. I picture the moron huddling in the dark like a coward, refusing to answer my Daddy's knock. Before giving up, my Daddy relayed the message in his deep, booming voice, that if the moron ever ran over his cat..................... well, lets just say his promise of bodily harm was delivered in such a colorfully descriptive manner that there could be no mistaking the conviction in my Darling Daddy's heart concerning this matter.
