She says that in one month, she will have to get up early in the morning and go to work all day. My human sissy, Matilda, and I aren't quite sure we are happy with this latest development, but Mommy seems relieved, almost giddy. She says she hasn't worked in nine years, though, and she's nervous.

The job, itself, isn't exactly what she was looking for. She was a marketing copywriter in her past, pre-Mommy life. Her new job will be phone sales/customer service. But it pays well, has benefits, and most importantly, gives mommy the financial independence she needs so she can buy us toys and food!

So, all-in-all, if I don't get to have mommy in the house all day, that's okay. I'll still get to cuddle with her at night ('cause I'm sure she'll be tired)!

Congratulations to your mommy! I wish her much success in her new job. It will be hard for you not having her home all the time and of course you'll miss her. When you're missing her, just think of all the toys and treats she'll be able to give you!

Congratulations Binks Mommy, all the best in your new job.

My mommy and daddy works all week, but it just means you get more cuddles when they get home and on a weekend. Mommy and I have 'Tilly Time' where i get a load of cuddles before she goes to work and then when she get homes we play together . The only down side is that i can not go in the garden until they get home.

My mommy says she was so nervous on her first day that she could not stop shaking, so she will be thinking of you mommy.

Concatulations to your mommy! It's hard having mommies gone all day... I know, mine goes away all day long Monday-Friday. :~( But she tells me someone has to earn the kibble. And since I like to eat, well, it's a sacrifice I must make! MOL!
