Arrival Story:
Mermaid was adopted from the Berkeley/East Bay Humane Society, a no kill shelter. She had been there for almost a year because she is very timid and this scared off any potential adopters. She is very affectionate towards me and likes one of the other cats that live here (Nickie). But she is still wary of my room mate and the other cat (Alistair). She likes to hide alot.
