Wishing Simba a safe journey

It is with great sadness that I must write this diary entry. One of my very dear friends will be leaving for the bridge tomorrow. Simba has brought such joy to so many. I know her mom is completely heartbroken. I know this because my heart is breaking right now thinking of losing my dear friend and knowing that her mom will be sad.

I was trying to think back to when I first met Simba and I just can not remember that day. It seems to me as if she was always there. I just thought it would be that way forever. Or maybe I just hope it would.

I know I was always thrilled when I would get an email saying I had a rosette from Simba. I knew it would be the highlight of my day that day. Her rosettes were always funny. They always got a big laugh from me. Even when I would be away from Catster for a long time. Simba never forgot me. I will always be greatful for her friendship.

Simba, thank you for allowing me to share in your wonderful life.
May you find great peace at the bridge and know that you are loved by so many. You will never be forgotten. You will live long after you are gone. You are in all our hearts. Nothing will change that. We love you sweet Simba.

My Birthday came early!!

I think I had the best day ever today! There was a little mix up and it was posted in several groups that my birthday was today. Well, technically my birthday is Saturday.
But, I sure did have a good birthday today. I have not been able to be on Caster much lately and was afraid everyone had given up on me. I had been fussing at mom to stop working so much and help me get on the computer more often. Then today mom told me about all the posts in my groups that were about me and I got so excited. I had to get her to type a message for me to send to all my groups to let them know it really wasn’t my birthday and to let everyone know how much I appreciated them thinking of me. Now, I know my friends haven’t forgotten about me and I get to celebrate my birthday for three days (as Rocky Ann pointed out). This is the kind of birthday I like, as long as I don’t have to add two more years to my age, I am all for this.

I already have so many friends to thank. Thanks to all the cats that posted Happy Birthday wishes in my groups.

Sad Day

Today, I lost my best friend. I am so sad to have to be writing that my best friend Milo went to the bridge today. He was the best friend a cat could ever have. He was only four years old and we should have many more years of fun together.

I am so sad and the worse part is, mom is not here to hug me and tell me everything is going to be alright. I wish she were here with me. I think she needs a hug as much as me. I hope she gets finished working early and can come home and be with us.

I know Milo's family is having a hard time and I don't know what I can do to help them. All I know is to let them know that I am thinking of them. I am sure Grandma's kitty Rhubarb is watching out for Milo. I bet they are curled up in a comfy bed taking a nap right now.

I hope Milo knows, he will ALWAYS be my best friend!!

Apology to Catster Friends

I would like to apologize to all my great Catster friends. Mom has been having to work a lot lately and most of it out of town. It appears that it will only get worse in the coming weeks. I am very sad that I will not have access to the computer much while she is away. So, I will not be able to stay in touch with all my wonderful friends. It already seems like I have been away forever.

I would like to thank my friends that have sent us Halloween goodies. I wanted to send some out also, but I don't know if Mom will be able to make time to do my shopping and shipping. Please know that I appreciate all the toys and treat, especially the treats, that my wonderful friends have sent. I will thank you with a personal pmail, if I have not already.

On the bright side, Mom purchased a halloween costume for me and I don't think she will have a chance to put it on me and take my Halloween picture. Yay, no torture for me. Hopefully.

Thanks again to all my Catster friends and please don't forget me. As soon as Mom's schedule slows down, I will try to get back in the swing of thing.

Me, Wanted??

Well, it has come to my attention that I am WANTED!!!

You might be asking, just who would want you Grover? The answer is **Cowboy Cat Milo** !!!
Did I hear you ask why he has put me on a WANTED POSTER? Well, just because I was rustlin' Dexter. I mean, isn't that what you are suppose to do to bratty little brothers. How else will they know who is boss. It is not really a crime, is it? I did notice Cowboy Milo has left a big fat juicy steak for me. Hmm, I wonder if this is a trap. Maybe, I could call a truce with him and we could share that big juicy steak. I think I will try it. Just don't put me in the pokey Milo!! Give your old pal a chance to make a fast getaway. Do you think he will go for it? I think I will give it a try. I guess the worse that could happen is he would haul me off to San Jose!!

Today is one of my best pals,* Riley's *, birthday.

I am a very bad friend. Riley's present is in Tennesse, at my house. Riley is in California. Sounds like a problem to me. I guess Riley will have to continue his birthday until his present gets to him.

Riley has already gotten the best gift ever. His mom bought him a custom made Whale Fish bed. You gotta go look at his page and take a look at it. It is the coolest bed ever!!

1. I am a BIG Mama’s Boy. I love to be where Mom is. Even if I am not in the same room, I have to be able to see her. If I can’t see her I have to get up and move until I can see her.

2. I once called my Grandma on the phone, long distance of course.

3. When I was six months old, I was already bigger than most full-grown cats.

4. My favorite color is RED, I always pick out red toys.

5. I have my own room that I do not have to share with Dexter. I got it because I somehow pulled an upholstery thread out of the furniture and tried to eat it. It got tied around my tongue and went all the way through to my stomach. It had to be removed surgically and cost Mom lots of money. Ever since then I am not allowed to roam the house unless Mom is home. I am in my kitty safe room.

6. I have two litter boxes in my room that sit side by side. I poo in one and pee in the other.

7. I can spell! Mom can spell T-R-E-A-T and I will come running.
