My Purrrfect Life

My New Beds

Mom & Dad gave me this blue fuzzy bed to sleep in a while ago. It is my most favorite place to sleep and MAN! is it comfortable! I push it all over the place trying to make it just right! It's getting old and lumpy. Mom must have noticed cuz the other day she came home with TWO new beds for me! I was *so* exited! One is just like my old one but better! It has sides for me to lounge on and prop up my furry feet! It is so comfortable and I love it more than my old one, if you can imagine that! Then last night, I tried out my other new bed. It has sides, too and is so big & covered in something called lamb's wool! PPuuuurrrrrrr.... Mom even put some of my toys in it so I'd have bedtime company! I love my spoiled, purrrfect life. It's great being pink, little ol me! Mew!

Having My Freedom

I am the only one in the whole house allowed to venture outside. Grrr used to when he was younger but with no claws, Mom & Dad have gotten overly cautious with him in his old age (He's 12).

Mom let me out to run through the courtyard, after puttin on my collar, yesterday. I'm ususally allowed to stay out for an hour at a time cuz I don't wander off. Mom must have forgotten I was out there cuz all of a sudden I hear her frantically calling my name, upstairs in the house. Then I hear her running down the stairs and into the courtyard calling for me. I just sat & watched. What was all the hype? I'M RIGHT HERE, MOM!! So I stayed under the big bush at the base of the stairs for almost 2 minutes, until Mom finally saw me. I was eating the grass she hates cuz it makes me puke and didn't want her to catch me. But she did and ran to carry me upstairs for our feline family dinner. (They feed all us felines our wet food @ 7pm every night. Dry food is always available.) It was a great evening and the weather was really nice. So was the dirt I rolled in.

I'm CURED!!!

The potty pants worked and I don't have to wear them anymore!!! HURRAY! I really didn't like wearing them and when I finally had my fill, Mom took 'em off and hasn't put 'em back on since! That was 3 weeks ago.

I'm so much happier now! I walk around with my tail held high and I'm not stressed out, so I don't pee anymore! I'm a good girl now. Mom said that she hopes I stay this way, and don't have anymore attitude episodes, and I'll never have to wear those pants again! I'm trying really hard and so far, so good!
