My adventure in the snow

Daddy bought this really soft blanket that Mommy just loves and we've been cuddling every night. I decided to take it over, and call it all mine. It's nice and warm and feels like a soft cloud. Anyway, I've been suffering from cabin fever and long to go sit on my deck just for a few minutes, but Mommy says it's too cold plus it's a little covered in snow. Daddy said if he made me a little path that I could go sit on the deck. The snow doesn't bother me, I kinda like it. So yesterday Dad made me a nice pathway, but I wanted to go out in the yard to the garden and visit my favorite tree. Daddy also made me a nice pathway to the garden. I finally got the chance to go out in the yard, but I didn't use the pathway Daddy made me, I decided I wanted to venture out into the deeper snow where my belly even touched the snow and I liked it. I told Mommy and Daddy I was pretty used to the snow beings I was an outside kitty long ago. I finally got to where I wanted to go and found my tree and scratched it for a long while, and sniffed and sniffed at some of the grass that was finally starting to show up. I made it to the garden and jumped to the tippidy top where I felt like I could see everything around me. I didn't want to go in just yet, but the spoilsports made me. I was so happy to go out just for a little while. The best part was when Mom made chicken soup and I had a nice warm bowl of chicken broth to warm me up. I'm looking forward to more snow, but Daddy said he had enough shoveling for now. I guess it's back to my nice warm blankie.

You are so lucky! I want to go out there! That doggie of ours gets to, so why can't I? It looks so fun! Hope you get to do it again! We had a pretty snowfall a few days ago, but I guess it will be gone tomorrow....we are supposed to get rain and sleet....yucky and dangerous, Mommy says!

So COOL, KiKi, that you like walking in the snow! You are an adventurous cat. Did you wear your scarf and hat outside? MOL! I could picture you sitting out there all dressed. But you got your warm fur instead. Sounds like you had a fun exciting day. Next time you go out, make some pawprints in the snow for Zoey and I!

KiKi that sounds super cool, I bet I would like to walk in the snow, too! I love to explore in our backyard, there's lots of neat stuff out there. You have the purrfect wardrobe for being a snow kitty!

Brrrr... you're brave! I don't think I'd like to go out in the snow! I'll just stay inside in a heated bed. :)

WOW we only had a little snow here one time and we went to the balcony but it was too cold!! Mom had also gotten a blanket from dad he called it a snuggee but I took it over as all my own too MOL I Love it. En joy your blanket.
