Arrival Story:
I am fostering brother and sister, Dancer and Leigh for www.LUCKYCATRESCUE.com. They are a no kill rescue and take in any cat in any condition for life and try to find a suitable home for everyone. They are 2, cute, sweet kitties that have not been adopted yet. They take a while to warm up to people and usually the cat rescue shows kitties in big dog crates at the PETCO but these babies HATE to be confined and therefore have not gotten as much PR as others who have gone on to loving homes. I have had them for about 4 months and believe me they are fun to have with my other cats. They LOVE other cats. They are affectionate but need space -they will tell ME when they want to be petted and they are very smart. They have had a hard life and lost their mother when they were only 2 months. They had never even seen humans and it took about a month for them to warm up to me, but when they did, the fun began! They are perfect for someone with other cats, for someone who does not have time for or want a high mainenance attention cat. They seem part Siamese with pointy eyes and ears and big attitude and style. They love thinking their thoughts on the couch or windowsill, being active and coming to greet you 2-3 times a day. They are effortless to have. The window picture is of Dancer and Sammi, my big tuxedo cat. Sam and Dan get along great and will sit in the window together birdwatching. I would keep them or any cat that I foster but I have 5 of my own!

Bio:
I have had to take them to the vet for normal follow up shots and exam after being fixed. I made it easy for the next person who gives them a forever home by making the carrier where their food is. They are not afraid of the carrier and it is not hard to get them to go in for vet visits. I would suggest to keep doing this so that vetting can be easy. They are all ready to go to a new forever home, together or separately.
