Arrival Story:
I had to have my cat of 23 years - Alex - euthanized because he had a rare mouth cancer which was causing his health to fail. It was a tough blow, Alex had been with me well over half of my life. After a couple of weeks the void Alex left got to me, so I headed to the Humane Society to see what I could find. Stu found me. As i was looking at the adult cats I bent over to pet a kitty that was in one of the lower level cages & felt a TAP TAP TAP on the top of my head. I looked up to see a cats paw thumping me. I stood up & looked right into those big eyes. I took Stuie out of the cage & he flopped over & made me hold him like a baby. (It's the only way he likes to be held) He gave me the big eyed BLINK BLINK & the deal was sealed. He was home within the hour & has been loving us ever since.
Bio:
Stuie is a very good cat. He is so loving & barely has a temper. He loves what we call 'assault petting'. He wants you to pet him hard, but occasionally does go into cuddle mode. He loves people food & playing (when he feels like it), sleeping & lounging in the windows... and has been known to watch tv. He LOVES to be able to go outside (on a leash!) and eat grass. He loves attention & will not hesitate to bother you for it but you rarely hear him meow. . He wants to be loved on his terms. He is very curious and quite a Daddy's boy. He's very proud. Stuie has a love/hate relationship with our other cat, Cletus (who is the baddest cat ever) and tolerates our dog, Stella. I think he just wants to be the center of attention. It's his way or no way at all.
