Arrival Story:
When we brought Mama'Kitty to my grandparents house, my brother was worried Milo would be lonely. Which was true. Milo was so lonely, he meowed all night the nights Mama'Kitty was in a room.
So, on our way home, we stopped at Animal Care & Control down in Palm Beach. We looked at all the cats, and wrote down certain cat's numbers. Then we went to the front desk to look at the first two.. They were these adorable little orange brothers that were scared and all curled up in the corner of their cage.
When we held them, they clawed us they were so scared! We decided to put them back in the cage for someone that wasn't looking for a cat to be held, and went back to the front desk for the next two cats.
The first one was this beautiful black and white kitten. It was so lovey in the cage, and was talking to us the whole time, rubbing on the bars of her cage purring. We held her and she began to get scared. We decided to go ahead and hold the next kitten.
This one would talk to my mother when she said "hello". He wouldn't talk to my brother or I if we said "hello", just my mother. We got to hold him, and he was so laid back and lovey. He was loving on me and purring the whole time I held him. When my mother held him, she quickly turned around when the kitten's neighboring cat hissed at him.
We decided to get this one. We went to the front desk, and my mother realized we didn't have anything to prove our address. She had my brother run out to our car, and check to see if there was anything in there. He came running back inside with a DirecTV magazine! My mother almost took it out of the car last night. It's a good thing she didn't.
When we were almost home, my brother was holding his box with Buddy in it. My brother called him his "little buddy" and I quickly said that should be his name! Buddy!
Bio:
Buddy is definitely a wacky cat. He always purrs, no matter what. (and I say that literally! this little bugger has purred through being poisoned, and having hydrogen peroxide poured down his throat!!!!) But at the sametime, he is not a lap cat. He doesn't like being in your lap, but he'll sleep at your feet!
Buddy thinks he is all that and a box of cracker jacks. His favorite people, would have to be the woman in this house. (AKA: my mom, me, and LB! what?? LB is people! or so she thinks she is :-P) He and Milo are practically like father and son. (Milo the father, of course) And while he may be afraid of nothing inside, outside is a completely different story!!
Basically. We all love Buddy, even if he is a naughty cat who likes to get into trouble. (and knock cups of water over!!)
